Maria - I recently started watercolor painting and found your fantastic videos! But, here is the weird thing. My aunt died last week and I live 3000 miles away from her. She was buried yesterday. My cousin sent me a recording of the memorial service. I listened to it a few minutes ago. It was a very small gathering. At the end her daughter (my cousin) Connie tried to sing, God Be With You Until We Meet Again. I had tears in my eyes. I went to TH-cam and found a version of it that was beautiful. I felt very sad.... Then I just got a notification of the above sunset and thought - this is what I am going to do next and this will now make me feel better - watching you paint. I was mizmerized watching you paint when all of a sudden I realize the background music is the same song. God Be With You Until We Meet Again!!!!! Some way I think there is a message in this. What are the odds of that happening. So I figured I would share this with you. Blessings, David Snellbacher

I just want to say that I think you are incredibly talented. I have been watching your videos for a while and took up watercolour painting as a stress reliever as my elderly father is dying of bone cancer and it is an incredibly stressful time for me. So thank you for making these relaxing videos that I can follow along and try to replicate to a certain extent your beautiful paintings!

☺️🌸💕thank you so much for your kind words. I recommend to stay away from student great art supplies. They slow down your growth as an artist as things don't come out right on a cheaper watercolor paper or painting with cheap paints :( I recommend Holbein because they are easier to control anyways, they don't add Oxgall to their paints so the paints doesn't spread as fast and as crazy like other watercolors. They are also very vibrant. If they are too expensive, my first watercolors were Winsor and Newton and Cotman, they are fine too but lower quality paints. Then you can also go with Van Gogh, cheaper but not bad🌸🌸☺️

Hi Eden, I have never used Talens but I wish you all the best🌸☺️Be brave with watercolors and make sure you paint on a good quality watercolor paper, that's the foundation 💕🤗
Pretty painting but are the plants floating on the waves? I have seen these around beach area on Pacific Ocean where I live but can’t figure out how to incorporate them in my painting as here they don’t come in on waves. Would be further back, perhaps on path leading to beach, sand, waves.
HI Kamal, yes those are the colors you mentioned that I used on the bottom. I list the colors during the video but also there are screenshots of my palettes with names of pigments to make to easier to follow. thank you
