@Peter T the police knew his name, its a federal crime to lie about being a vet, he most likely has the vet mark on his I'd card. The TV show probably just didn't think it was important to show proof of his service. I also believe it because in navy bootcamp I saw some kids I was wondering how they even made it to great lakes without getting lost. It doesn't suprise me some vets out there

From what I understand the bar bought and demolished his house and he has a new home now but is still bitter that they knocked down his last one so he pretends to be homeless or is insane and thinks that he's homeless.

The whole point of the First Amendment is to prevent the State from telling you what you can and can't express. If you want to bleat about private property, you should be aware that there is a principle in law that a right or freedom (they are not the same) does not exist unless the opportunity to use it also exists. This is why courts have (mostly) ruled in favour of what's referred to as "quasi-public property."
There was a time when there was ample public space, and areas deliberately set aside for people to gather, where divergent voices could be heard. But as time has passed and neo-liberalism has infected our culture, places like public squares have been replaced by suburban big box mega-stores and shopping malls. As a result of this, courts have ruled that these places -- even though they are privately owned -- have a _legal_ responsibility to allow for free expression, or otherwise there is nowhere else left to do it.
This phenomenon is referred to in law as "quasi-public property," where it's privately owned but still subject to the laws which govern public land.
This is why what I quoted from Joseph Sobran -- a very well-known and well-respected _conservative_ voice -- applies to this video.

I hope the old guy finds some help and a place to live. Veterans should never have to be homeless. I saw on one TH-cam channel, that a man made a small community of tiny houses just for veterans. While there, arrangements are made to help them get into more permanent homes and/or learn new skills so they can work, if they are capable. They give these men hope and let them know their efforts in the military were appreciated.
His name being on some "list" in the store is NOT an indication of being trespassed. "Being trespassed" is where you are given notice (usually verabally) by the police that you are not allowed to return to a location/property. This would have to be checked through dispatch to see if such a notice had been given, however I don't hear any radio traffic to that effect. I believe the vet when he says that he has not been trespassed from this property. (At least not until this point, anyway.)

The building is clearly not new, but I checked out the location on Streetview - it looks like the building previously housed a church (Kingdom Reapers Ministry) up until 2014/2015, and the building became the bar sometime in 2018/2019. So I guess he was being housed at the church when it was in existence.
The veteran might be suffering from PTSD or some other issue that caused his reasoning to be a bit off-kilter. He is fixated on a situation to the point of risking his freedom - there seems to be a disconnect in his thought-processing. I wish he would be transferred to a VA Hospital with a goal of securing the assistance he desperately needs. He could experience a minor slight (power outage, a vehicle causing him to believe he is being threatened, observing a bad accident, etc), that could quickly become a 'trigger' - a violent and potentially life-threatening episode could occur. THIS MAN NEEDS HELP!!!!

He's trespassed, he legally can't be there. The store doesn't enforce the trespass order, law enforcement does.
AustinC but he didn’t know there’s no papers so the store was in the wrong for serving him she said she found out who he was before that day and still served him and didn’t notify him so they are clearly wrong her story didn’t even add up but dude even had receipts so the store and the police failed to notify him if it was true
