I liked Kate, but the show as a whole (cast and crew) was still trying to figure itself out the first two seasons. Ziva came on board right as everyone was hitting their stride and left when it was starting to get stale.
I really liked Ziva's character on the show. She really kicked butt. Cote, in the Ziva character did her very well, she did her justice !No pun intended .
Missed the episode where the bad guy comes out holding a gun to the child hostage, confronts Ziva and Gibbs. Gibbs tells Ziva to take the shot. She recites temperature, humidity and windage, then drills the bad guy right between the eyes.
If Natasha Romanoff is Black Widow, then Ziva is the Redback. Every serious fight, her approach is the same, close the distance, sneak as close into their quarters as she can to decrease any momentum they can muster for any of their swings, to offbalance and neutralise them. It works most of the time, but not so against a 2 metre tall supersoldier- even so she can readjust her approach to build up her own momentum to throw him off kilter so others can help neutralise. Ziva vs Liat was my favourite because it wasn't a fight with the aim to neutralise, they wanted to hurt one another after 2 days pissing off each other.. it was between two rival mossad women with similar backgrounds and with lots of emotion behind it, lots of "need to put her in her place, show off what i know, prove myself fully once and for all". Yes women can take down men too, its all about what tactics you can employ for each situation to compensate for a different weight/body class, but know that it can and has been done. Because many men don't feel they have to prove anything and think automatically that there's no way someone smaller can seriously take them down, they never see it coming. They don't know the rage of women in "men's" fields, who have been pushed down and dismissed all their lives.
I didn't care too much for Tony's character too egotistical he had to be the center of attraction and he was always putting down everybody because he wanted to show off just got tired of him
That first one... why doesn't she use her hands to disarm? Much faster than standing, then kicking to disarm with hands while in the process of standing, using the momentum and movement of standing to aid the disarm.

Seasons 3- 11 with Ziva were the golden years of NCIS.. no.other can beat that ❤❤❤
The Ziva years of n.c.i.s. was there golden years. After she left, the show never was the same.
