I found my activities in that area to come from a sick dysfunctional beginning that honestly created more pain. I already was lacking why take an emotional hostage. I don't find it to be torturous or sad ; on the contrary I throw myself further into this life. I like family pets associates and coworkers but on my terms. Honestly I probably am selfish...can't handle too much stress tension and unhealthy behavior. At any rate honestly what can I gain? Nothing really but more sorrow. The race and war is over! No issue widower or ex or cheating or inlaws or their money yada yada yada. Viva la singlehood!
Thank you so much for the encouragement and validation. It gives me hope that I will be not only okay, but I can still thrive as a single person even if I never find Mr. Right. I forgot to see the blessings in having more time and freedom to invest in myself and non-romantic relationships. I never have to settle and it takes a lot of pressure off of me.
