Shut up, 17 year old me. You DID technically grow up with this music when it was most important to you (ages 13 to 22) and what's more, you ended up letting it move you towards learning Japanese. But yeah, still the greatest band of all time; I'll give you that.
I just really like the band. Sure i found about them through flcl. But i listen to a ton of their other music, they have such a unique britbop meets old pop punk sound. Kind of like the pixies and smashing pumpkins with a hint of oasis.
