True, but the real problem is that there weren't enough really good songs on some of their later albums; a lot of the songs were just okay, so the albums turned out pretty mediocre overall. The last couple albums ("Stroll and Roll" and "Nook in the Brain") have been pretty consistent, though.

I just really like the band. Sure i found about them through flcl. But i listen to a ton of their other music, they have such a unique britbop meets old pop punk sound. Kind of like the pixies and smashing pumpkins with a hint of oasis.
