me and my dad jsut showed my younger brother FLCL yesterday. we diddnt get all 6 episodes in one night like we usually do, but we did show him. i think i was i was his age when i first watched it with him, 11. its my dad's faviorite anime, and a close second for me. i hope i will always come back to it with the same wonder that i did the first time, just like my little brother last night.

These guys don't seem to be as far out as I thought they would be. They're just having fun, there should be more bands that have fun making music like these guys.
You know, actually most of their songs that I really like I've found in FLCL. I've been listening to their other songs and cannot compare them with FLCL discography. Maybe few ones, but those chosen for FLCL were pearls of Pillows' work. Even for biggest fans (such as I think myself being fan of Rammstein) there are also songs that were weak. Besides, The Pillows play very different tunes, ranging from dark, The Prodigy like Stalker goes to Babylon up to light and fluffy Funny Bunny.
I think what helps make the songs so good is that we have scenes and characters from FLCL that we connect them to. It gives a lot more emoition to the songs than what was already there, especially if you don't speak the language.
A lot of nostalgia in this song. Watching FLCL at 3 am on summer break between junior and senior year.
