"Power crept" more like skill issue if getting out two salvos of french 380 ap or he at anything alongside with good secondaries and a turtleback that still works fairly well and a speed boost for juking isnt somehow good enough then thats your own problem that you cant play a good ship that isnt entirely braindead to do well with like how pq can make khaba work and finds enjoyment playing it unlike you

yeah bourgogne gets bullied hard these days, kinda shines in ranked since it can kinda ambush with MBRB unprompted unlike wisconsin that needs to charge the F key slava has the same problem i find, poor thing doesn't cut it anymore with 25mm nose/stern and 32mm deck, and with all demenetd new BBs running around it's not as consistant as before
Honestly I stopped playing my Bourgogne when Schlieffen came out since more than any other BB it just hard counters AND it's available through grinding the TT as opposed to saving 22.5 / 30k steel. Most every other BB you've mentioned aside from legmod Colombo which is still kinda rare and maybe RI (although being cash only makes that ship rare enough I've never fought against one that had hands period let alone the rare matches I take the Bourg out) can be maneuvered against or just burned down with the decent fire chance if they refuse to flinch... But Schlieffen? You're barely faster with speed boost on and slower when it's down and unless he's a complete spud with a torp reload build you're never whittling him down (or at least I'm not ever seeing it when playing either Schlieffen or Bourg)... No other ship in the game imo has been as hard countered as Bourg has vs Schlieffen... about the only thing I can do when playing Bourg getting run down by a Schlief is turbo kite and try and get him to sail broadside to my team who hopefully takes advantage... and that requires the near mythical basic teamwork / situational awareness.
