WOW! I'm running out of adjectives to describe these rides. The scenery is wonderful and these little towns are just wonderful. I have a been Dali fan for most of my life so thanks for the quick visit to the museum.

Thanks Norman, agree the little towns are full of character. Like you I am. Dali fan and the Theatre Museum is almost a pilgrimage and its content both outlandish and weirdly wonderful.

Ha ha, a lot of water to be fished in the north end of Spain. Seriously tempted myself 🤓👍

Another great video with lovely scenery as usual.
Jon can all 4 of you communicate whilst you are going along.

Thanks Bear, only Buddy and I were able to communicate , let’s just say…..we had technical issues trying anything more complicated than that ……..😂. Also though both systems are by Cardo but they are different models.
      🤓👍

Another cracking video, you are certainly getting some miles down. Have you checked how many miles you are expecting to cover over the trip?

A few thousand, we will add up the tally at the final post. The bike itself is fast approaching 100.000 kms. We are at over 99.000 at the moment……

We're doing a similar trip in September. How did you manage on the twisties with the weight? I'm much the same age as you and I'm a little worried about the weight of luggage and passenger

      Hi, that’s a very good question 👍.
We left home 6th May (video No1), and have adjusted the whereabouts of heavier items a few times since then, heavy stuff low on the bike, (Side Panniers), lighter stuff high on the bike (tank bag, top box, rack). We also ditched several items and left them with friends. On the twisty’s , due to the weight, I am much less aggressive and more brake anticipation particularly on the downhills. Bit like how you would ride in bad weather, (if that makes sense ?). Whenever possible for more challenging rides, (see tour 2024 video No 5) , we ride without luggage and at a more normal rate. Saying that we don’t fly along like pretend racer clones.
The tank bag was also ditched later as it fouled or encumbered the handlebars at full lock which became a problem in tight slow speed turns. Oh and regular tyre pressure checks are pretty important with all the weight.
Hope this helps ?, and you have a wonderful tour 🤓👍
