    In one of your videos i noticed coach Nyla saying you guys have two different households and get to see your husbands every single day. What do you personally think is better for a big family to stay under the same roof or to have two different apartments/houses very close to each other?

      waalaykum as salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu ukhti,
      ma sha Allah, thank you for the kind words, it's only with patience, prayer, and leaning on Allah t'ala. There is a process of growth that we all had to go through in order to get here and which is one of the major reasons we help others because if we could help shortened people's learning curves, there are immense blessings in that which we hope to see on the Day we need it most. jazakAllahu khayr ukhti, we appreciate you.

    I have three sisters and we can't be in the kitchen together. I dislike that people associate personality traits and quirks to jealousy or hatred. I just like being alone and I get annoyed when my son is in the bathroom.

    Mashaallah. I can tell yall vibe very well with each other. So much so that you are starting to resemble one another mashaallah. Must be such a bonus to get both a husband and a sister. Was struggling in my marriage and I thought polygamy would do the trick for us. A different seasoning in the pot, another set of eyes, another smile, another helper, another support in the struggle of life. I agree you cant fix something broken by putting more weight on it, but my hubby and I were coming from a place of good communication and mutual trust. I thought we could handle it. But we didn't end up going through with it. It's still just me. And looks like I'm out. Ive outgrown this marriage. I'm suffocating. Not because it's just me. Gotta be good at monogamy to be good at polygamy. But I'm over the struggle. Struggle love is wack. A brother has to get it together after some time. I'm tired. I want to be with a person I look up to.... mashaallah. May Allah continue to bless you both

      What do you mean by struggle love? Please help me understand. This is a sincere question I would like to know. My Allah gave you the happiness you deserve.

      @@speakonit25 I mean, struggling with a person's "situation" for time on end. Sigh. I have a dream to open up a spa. All women, massages, henna, yoga, tea. Inshaallah I will do it. But first, I had to go to school. Become a professional. Secure that bank bc my dream is not sure shot. I continued school through 2 babies. Alhamdulillah all is well, and I'm almost done. So, when I'm told that he wants to either not go to school or go to school but for comparative religion, with all due respect, "come again?" So now I'm struggling, paying all the bills because you decided to put your passion before your responsibilities? This is called struggle love. It is wack. A man and a woman should absolutely work together to push the family forward. But the man should be the one to make the most sacrifice, passion wise, bc he is supposed to take care of his family. He should put himself in the position to do so, and not while working 50 low paying jobs such that he is not even present for his family. He should at least work toward a plan that makes sense. And do it early! Not 10 years later when all the patience as worn thin....... anyhow, that is all. Sorry. I'm venting.

      @Sabireen Safeerah alHamdulillah, thank you for your comments. You sound very mature and indeed you shared words of wisdom in your response. Polygyny indeed is not meant to fix something that is broken and as we say, it takes the right man for the job.
      There are few things in life that we despise less than a lack of ambition. That isn't something easily taught either. May Allah grant you tawfeeq in your rizq, family, and future. Prayerfully the situation and how it turns out will be of the most benefit to you and your two little ones and the brother even if it looks different than you imagined a decade ago. BarakAllahu feek

    Asalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
    Wonderful video, may Allah reward you for the love and peace you are showing.
    Also you're pleasing Allah, through the da'wah and showing good character. I'm a huge fan of showing and doing good. The three of you are doing a wonderful job. More people need to understand that polygyny is the solution to so many issues in this dunia. More muslim men and women need to prepare and consider polygyny as a duty, because of the world we live in (zina, fitna, social media...). There's a lot of work but you guys are doing a fantastic job. You give us so much hope.
    I do my best to do that daily through my relationship with my Co-wife, and show a positive example to my kids. We all know it's not easy, and it's a long journey, but we have to be willing to do the work.
    May Allah reward you and your kids, ameen, may Allah give your kids wonderful, exemplary, God-Feering Muslim husbands and wives. Ameen thumma ameen.
    WAllahi I wish I could meet you.
    Peace to you my outstanding people!

    Do you think it is easier for a man to have both women in the same house or seperated?

    • @outstandingpersonalrelationshi
      @outstandingpersonalrelationshi  4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      There is no one cookie cutter, but I'll explain how it works for us.
      I had 6 children with Coach Fatimah before entering polygyny and Coach Nyla had 2 children when we married.
      So for us, it made sense in addition to allowing a Queen to run her palace how she desires, to have separate homes. We have added 4 children since that time, 1 with Coach Fatimah & 3 with Coach Nyla. That many people in one house isn't practical for us unless it would be some type of Neverland estate.

    Does the 2nd wife receive a wedding ring in polygny?

    • @outstandingpersonalrelationshi
      @outstandingpersonalrelationshi  4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Great question. Wedding rings aren't part of our Islamic culture. As Muslims the women receive what's called a mahr or some call a dowry which is whatever she chooses and he agrees to. Some are large like homes or cars or tens of thousands of dollars while others are modest and may include a ring. However even if a ring, it's considered a mahr.

      Wearing Wedding rings are not a requirement in Islamic marriages however if you choose to wear one it's okay.
