They're doing cool things, and Andorra is an awesome spot with killer trails. Understood regarding the headset - it wouldn't be our choice either - but it also wouldn't prevent us from buying a bike..
For that much money. I’d expect carbon wheels and Ti stem , cranks etc. that’s insane. And people shrug it off like “meh not outrageous “. People have lost their damn minds.
We're not saying that it's good value, by any means. It's in line with a Yeti SB165 T3 XO Transmission and Pivot Firebird Pro X0 Eagle Transmission though.
@fullpull.. The mount work well but their bottles are stiff plastic and the mouth piece just don’t work as well as other bottles. I have two of them and don’t use them anymore.
@ oh really? I have been using them for a little over a full season and love them. Mine has the flip lid that protects it from dirt and I just squeeze the water out. I do have a rather large bottle which might make it easier to squeeze
Siryon e-bike owner here - they all creak - its that Acros Block-lock lower headset. Terrible. Same issue on my YT Decoy. Both swapped out. Nice to see Forestal finally specced a decent fork on a 170mm travel enduro. The lyrik and 180mm rear rotor on the Siryon e-bike were laughable.
"Crazy-long" seattube length. Headtube cable "routing." Is this for marketing out a non-eBike option like the Trek Fuel EX or is it actually for riding? Build seems "blurred and lost" in multiple generations of mtb engineering and thus also from multiple engineers.
This is an XL pictured, with a 475mm seat tube. The Large has a 440mm, so not crazy long. Headset routing, sure, not what we’d choose. Not sure what’s blurred and lost about the build..
Random question. What flat pedals do you recommend? Loved my TMacs but wanting something new. Tried the sensus crue and didn’t like how close to the cranks they were. Thinking Hope F22, Deity Supervillain or Burgtec mk5 BRAGE. Any advice?
Headset cable routing slightly improves looks but is very much not worth it. I'll actively avoid purchasing a bike with it. Very disappointing that they aren't listening to customer feedback. Seems like a pretty cool bike otherwise
It seems like the general consumer consensus is that it's a negative. We appreciate its positives in terms of looks and cable management, but the more difficult service is certainly a price to pay. It was cool for sure. Very fun first rides!
headset cable routing....fail, not interested....lol single pivot with a shock yoke, yokes kill shocks and single pivot kills suspension when the brakes are on.
Headset routing, we’re not huge fans of either. Air shocks are typically just fine with yokes. And it’s all dependent on frame construction to isolate side loads and ensure good alignment. Shock yoke doesn’t automatically mean shock death. Kinematics don’t have crazy brake influence. A little more than your typical Horst link bike, but not overly extreme.
@@TheLoamWolf single pivots lock up the suspension when the brakes are on. put the bike's front wheel against a wall and get in a track stand, lock the rear brake and bounce.....the rear will not move, thats what you feal on the trail.
I had high hopes for this brand. Andorra looks like such a cool place to live. That being said, I won’t buy any bike with cabled headsets..

Now that’s a good looking bike
Rob agrees!
I tested my prototype bike (neat bikes) in the same place, and it's amazing! also the look of the bike!
Some of Rob's favorite trails for sure!
Your bikes look really...Neat.
Fidlock mounts standard is sweet. Are any brands offering a bottle with a bike?
For sure. Not sure if the bike will come with a bottle...would make a lot of sense though huh.

It’s a good looking bike. How hard is it to get to the shock mounting bolts to remove the shock for servicing?
It sure is. Access isn't too bad, especially if you have an L-handle tool.
Wait! At 1:00 is that the new "secret" Bosch display?
It's Forestal's own Smart Dashboard. A seperate system that's essentially an integrated Android phone that runs the Bosch eBike Flow app and others.

Plastic and headsets don't seem to be a good mix, huh?
Yeah, no-nonsense spec on this for sure. Great to see.
@@TheLoamWolf , friends don't let friends buy bikes with ICR.

If I had 9k to spare I’d definitely buy this bike without a care for sure 👍
We wish we had 9k lying around, too.
@ haha 😆 you guys have the bike already you don’t need 9k lmfaooo

Hope F22 are solid, the Burgtec Brage's are brutal. Haven't tried Supervillains but they look like a great option too. Hard to call between the three!
@ the burgtecs seem close to the cranks. I had to sell the sensus crue because of the stance being too close. Wish I could demo these darn things lol
Forestal Syrion is a súper Bike, handling ….Geometry …
It's a fun one for sure.
OOOOOOPS no motor - im in the wrong place :D
Just leg power on this one.

Fair enough! I (Rob) dig how it looks.

That's not exclusive to single pivot designs...happens to a degree on most systems.
kinda ugly...but it is kinda growing on me by the minute....
It'll do that! Looks good in the flesh, at least in my eyes.

Nice bike CG
Don't believe CG is involved with them any more.
