Really cool video! I have a 16' 20' canvas tent and it's been fire and mold treated. My question is, could I use this stuff to clean it and not ruin the treatment. It's duck canvas and I want to keep it clean and strong for many years to come. Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks
Deep Clean is highly effective and would likely remove the protective coatings. We advise that you reach out to the tent manufacturer or the company that provided the service of the sealant to see what they recommended for cleaning methods that would not diminish the integrity of the protective coating.
Some people have obviously never cleaned a filthy awning. I have used TSP and laundry soap. TWO CLEANINGS and still not acceptable. first time scrubed with RV brush (fairly soft brush) 2nd time with a harder nylon bristle brush. Pressure washed after both times. In SF and has not been cleaned in 9 years
This is a great video . but the person cleaning the awning should have firsat used a pressure washer and the applied the detergent and then scrubbed and te used the pressure washer for the final rinse off... so my guess is the video was made to sell the winsol deep clean .. i have the same stuff.. but it will work better if you take the 10 minutes or so to do a pre wash down of the main dirt with a pressure washer first... the whole process will go a lot quicker then and the results will be better .
+Alec gsz It was this brush: www.jracenstein.com/item/66-502/brush-10in-blue-soft-hydrasoar-flowthru/ but you can use a waterfed pole too if you wanted.
+86poulin ooof, thats a tough one. The latex is probably already dried up and stuck on pretty good. You could try BioSolv which is an adhesive remover and graffiti remover.
You could but you most probably ned the pressure washer to push the dirt out of the awning ... i think you should try with both because the pressure washer is the tool that is actually getting most of the dirt off in most cases..

is there anything you can apply after the cleaning to stop this from happening again?
Yes, Awning Guards which is a fabric sealer is available: www.jracenstein.com/item/88-631/88-631_awning-guard-690-plus-gal-winsol_th
Yes, depending on what kind of awning it is awning guard (fabric awning) or awning armor (vinyl awning) which both can be found on jracenstein.com
Thanks!

What ratio water and deep clean for real dirty Awnings please please ? What pressure would you recommend use the rinse off please ? thank you
What cleaning agent was in the sprayer?
Winsol Deep Clean.
OK awning done but how's the sandwiches????
Betty's ORIGINAL toasted sandwiches. All other toasted sandwiches pale in comparison.
What's the ratio mix with the winsol deep clean
8oz deep clean to 1 gal of water

How much do you charge approx for a job that size and that dirty more or less?
$2.00 per square ft. to clean and $1.00 extra to seal.
Is he using a water fed pole or just a regular broom

beautiful job
AWESOME VIDEO
how do you get paint off of an awning?same way. latex type of paint.

Great job. How much you charge for that service n how often
Great job
You guys rock
I was in pain just watching that. That was such a long process guys.....Just use a soft wash approach. You'd be done in minutes.
umm that is a soft wash (brush/cleaner/scrub/light rinse) what else could a soft wash be???
thanks
Let's see it with "low pressure wash" without Winsol, probably the exact same result.
i just tryed it... thats why i'm here. pressure wash gets of just 80ish %
You can see that Unger pole elbow screaming in pain.
Wow that was a filthy awning!
How much pressure do you use to clean those?
Less than 2000psi is ideal.
U could have saved some time blue dawn and pressure washer
Thanks!
how much you charge for that job , thanks
Martin Morales more than some less than most. I guess $400
Jason I would think $400 In Manhattan. That price I would do 30 a day))
All the scrubbing was probably a waste of time. It was just dirt and the pressure washer would have worked without out.
Correct
Couldn't you also use a WFP?
Yes. You could use a waterfed pole to help rinse it, I do suggest using a brush that has fan jets set up though.

ya..but.. bananas
