Twister was the first film I ever saw Philip Seymour Hoffman in. I was blessed to grow up less than 10 miles from his hometown of Fairport NY. I got the chance to meet him at our local hometown grocery store Wegmans one night while I was working. He came back to town and came to the store to have dinner with his mom and kids. He was so nice and polite. A true talent taken away way too soon. He may have gotten an Oscar for Capote, but this was by far my favorite role of his. I often rewatch his movies. Fly high up there. @@WhereAreTheyNowVideos Twister I seen at the drive inn in 1996 while scene of a drive inn getting hit by one that happen during the showing of Twister I forget what state it happen I can't imagine that when there is no warning of a tornado you are pretty much a sitting duck .I live Indiana and they are saying that Tornado alley has slightly shifted to Indiana is now part of it.A year before twister Indiana was hit by 5 tornado I was at a camp when they said 5 tornado are aimed and going to hit the entire camp we all got out of cabin and went into lodge basement if the tornado directly hit the building we most likely would have been safe but it was terrifying is not knowing if we would survive a direct hit.Since Twister and even few other films involving tornadoes I thank God every day for the brave souls who put themselves in danger chasing mother nature fierce terrifying often unpredictable pattern.

Now I can say that I've watched almost everything on this movie. I've watched the movie over 100 times.. Watched it in English and French, with and without commentary and since then I've been trying to watch everything about it.. especially the filming locations. And Twister was what got me interested in tornadoes.. so far I've watched almost every video I could find.. almost every movie.. Atomic Twister was the weirdest.. but one of the strangest ones I seen was Storm Chasers - Revenge of the Twister.. I will say that I haven't watched the new movie.. I watched the trailer and I wasn't impressed by it.. but I will watch it when it comes to streaming services.
Sad we didn’t get at least a trilogy with at least some of the original cast. I mean, talk about easy sequels, every year has a tornado season!? Everyone wants to see well done action and crazy weather phenomenon.

@WhereAreTheyNowVideos I live in rural Indiana. We used to have 3 drive ins within the surrounding 3 counties. 2 of the 3 are gone, but our community still enjoys 1. That drive-in has both movies this weekend, Twister then Twisters. However, we saw them separately. Obviously, the first one many years ago and Twisters this Summer. Both at separate drive ins. I can't stay awake long enough to watch 2 movies in a row anymore.

As an Oklahoman who has lived in "Tornado Alley" her whole life, Twister got the sound and noise correct that real tornadoes make. It was eerie.

And Twister was what got me interested in tornadoes.. so far I've watched almost every video I could find.. almost every movie.. Atomic Twister was the weirdest.. but one of the strangest ones I seen was Storm Chasers - Revenge of the Twister.. I will say that I haven't watched the new movie.. I watched the trailer and I wasn't impressed by it.. but I will watch it when it comes to streaming services.

@WhereAreTheyNowVideos I live in rural Indiana. We used to have 3 drive ins within the surrounding 3 counties. 2 of the 3 are gone, but our community still enjoys 1. That drive-in has both movies this weekend, Twister then Twisters. However, we saw them separately. Obviously, the first one many years ago and Twisters this Summer. Both at separate drive ins. I can't stay awake long enough to watch 2 movies in a row anymore.
