I have a feeling that Cardinals management is trying to pull a "Major League", and it'll be a race between the Cards and the White Sox to see which one ends up in Nashville.
@@dooshkid I don't think so. There isn't any owner of a professional sports team who wouldn't sell out the city they're currently in if the money was right. There have been times before when the Cardinals very nearly left St Louis, and I wouldn't put anything past the DeWitts.
The best thing about this video is that I realised the promo that JBL cut on Edge & Christian before the WWE Tag Team title match at Fully Loaded 2000 is correct as the City of Dallas have now technically won every major sports title because of the Rangers winning the World Series last year and it only took 23 years 😂
I know right. I think the Mavs victory in 2011 is only slightly sweeter because of the revenge. Rangers winning was damn good too. The ghost of David Freese can't hurt us anymore.
A full season of Evan Carter and Wyatt Langford is going to feed families. I know repeat championships is probably not going to happen but my hopium is at a all time high
Utree, love the krusty krab music for the Pittsburgh pirates. The pirates are a young team. They will be good here soon. If not this year next year for certain. Alot of their top pitchers like Skenes and Jones are on the horizon. They will in the show this year. They got other pitchers on the way next year also, Solometo, and Chandler. There's more hope now as a pirates fan than in the last 5 years or so.

Finally, the MLB guide I look forward to every year. I'm just hoping the Mariners can have a good season, but if they can have a deep run I'd be over the moon.
An insane fact that I know as a brewer fan, Every team that has beaten us in the postseason has gone on to make it to the world series, and 6 later won it all the two exceptions being the 1981 Yankee's and 2017 Dodgers
I appreciate the fact that tree mentioned how special Jackson chourio could be. Chourio is special and can singlehandedly turn the brewers around for years to come 👍👍👍

@@bobbobson8087 I believe the Mariners may break though this season. I do see 2024 as the first time that Astros don't take AL West, but are in the WC alongside Blue Jays ,2023 Crown winners The Rangers, Guardians and Tigers.
Another day has risen in the desert as baseball begins for the Diamondbacks. Yes, I am afraid that the NL West has basically become the Group of Death, except for Colorado. But hey this is going to be an interesting ride and I hope the Diamondbacks do build off the run that they had last year. This time I want to see them go all the way and EMBRACE THE CHAOS!
The funny thing with the Cardinals is the rotation was so awful last year that it’s improved a lot even with the 5 ERA innings eaters. I’ll take that over Dakota Hudson any day. Pretty sure that FO is banking on our young guys breaking out this year to win the NL Central with 88 wins
Us here at Cleveland are gonna have the exact same season as last year. I'm expecting to barely miss the wild card. But, I enjoy watching this team. Love the players.
Wow, a day after Tree posts this video, the Orioles are indeed freed from hell as Peter Angelos died... wow. That's sad for the Angelos family. That being said, being freed from his grip on the team a positive thing for the Obirds under new ownership.
What a time to be a sports fan in Baltimore. All we need now is for both teams to win a championship in the same year. And they each have the potential to pull it off!
Red Sox fan- Yeah. We suck! Now our lineup is too left handed heavy.. next to the fact you still don’t have starting pitching with Houck and Whitlock sucking there and that’s who our last two starters are… cool. Same shit new year. Excited for another 78 win season!
@@Tornado1994 just. No changes is what frustrates me. I’m excited for Bello, Casas, Duran and another year from Yoshida.. but to run back Whitlock and Houck and to sign Giolito who for one sucks and 2 stuck with his contract worth $15 mil a season for this year and his played option next. Also Liam Hendrix who won’t be back til mid season… just aggravates the hell out of me. Picture our pen. Let’s say hypothetical. If we signed Jordan Montgomery and let’s say Giolito stayed healthy. That pen of Whitlock, Houck, Jansen, Chris Martin and when Liam gets back what would that do for us.. just. Stop making these two starters!
@@Tornado1994 imo. And maybe this opinion could be invalid. But with basically the same team in 2017, under Girardi, they almost made tbe World Series. Oh, you missed the Dodgers' achilles heel: Defense. Max Muncy might have gotten even worse at 3B, and Gavin Lux's yips are so bad that the Dodgers have shifted him over to 2B so that... ...Mookie Betts, the corner outfielder, can man the most important defensive position on the field. Dodgers Pitchers are going to have to strike everyone out, because their defense is going to be just awful. See their second game in Korea for more proof of that.
@@warlordofbritannia Betts was good enough to play 2B last year, sure, but he's not being asked to play 2B, he's being asked to play Shortstop now. That's a significantly harder job. Doubly so when he has to cover for a Lux whose arm is a wet noodle right now, and Muncy who has never been good defensively and certainly isn't getting better. Dodgers fans are going to start dreading every ground ball, because there's going to be a ton of holes in that infield.
Cardinals fan, you pretty much nailed what fans here are thinking and what local media is reporting (once you filter out the local “sunshine and rainbows” BS that is pretty prevalent here)
As a Blue Jays fan it's encouraging that no one is giving them a chance. An interesting season is upon us and we need to embrace it and enjoy what could be the last season of Bo and Vlad...
So everyone sleeping on my gaurds who punted last year bc of pitching injuries but had naylor and Jose hot the whole year? Bo naylor and giminez out together great august and September’s each, and we have Bibee, Williams and allen, Bieber has dominated his two starts kwan is one of the best lead off hitters in the league
As a Cardinals and Steelers fan, as things stand right now, it's year-round pain from two teams are supposed to be an escape. I have no hope that the Cardinals will do anything other than be horrible. A wild card berth seems like quite an optimistic take. I'm thinking it's more like an 80-82 win season, 3rd place finish type of year. Send John Mozeliak packing yesterday, please. And take Marmol with him.
@crazyluigi6664 I hope they pull the same thing again lmao. I loved the chaos of "we barely snuck in and didn't have a good season, but screw it, we'll win anyways!" I really hoped for them to win the world series, but that is partially due to my bias of not liking the anger issues that makes up the entirety of the Dallas/Arlington/Fort Worth area of Texas.
Can't wait for the Dodgers to finish 1st in the NL West, but for the Diamondbacks to go as far or farther in the playoffs. The Dodgers are the Dallas Cowboys of Major League Baseball: - consistently won championships back in the 20th century - currently regular season powerhouses - playoff bed-wetters and crybabies - Playoff Dak = Playoff Kershaw - Mike McCarthy = Dave Roberts - insufferable fanbase
@@bobbobson8087 And they are welcome to display their Mickey Mouse trophy anywhere where they want. They should probably sell it to give Shohei Ohtani his stolen money back even though he already has too much. 🤣🤣🤣

Your Blue Jays analysis was spot on. The Votto story has been kind of cool by itself, but this team has done nothing to get better and are aguably worse than last year losing Merrifield and Chapman. Even if Chapman’s bat was imaginary at points last season.
did Ohtani use code TREE?
20:01 Now that the Angelos have sold the Oriolies, the Lerners probably changed their mind about the Nats since they're hoping to have a better MASN deal than the one the Angelos gave them.

Solid work as always Tree, but one thing I have to point out: I LOVE the new transitions between the teams with the slow fadeout of the flavor text. I would spend so much time rewinding those five seconds just because I missed whatever wit and snark you poured into it because the transition would be so fast, but now the slow fade text gives me enough time to see, read, and laugh. Might just be a little thing, but it's appreciated. On to LOLMets 2024!
5:35 the cardinals dumping Palacios and not Carlson is absolute madness lol Palacios has skills and a little power already.. dude is a certified STUD!

I have a feeling that Cardinals management is trying to pull a "Major League", and it'll be a race between the Cards and the White Sox to see which one ends up in Nashville.
@@All2Memeif you honestly think the Cardinals franchise wants to leave Saint Louis, you are in dire need serious mental health help.

It’s the Mariners though. We’re destined for another 81-81 season and playoff miss
@@bobbobson8087 They'll probably win 54% or around 87-88 games and barely miss the playoffs by 1 game lol

Seconded.
Beantown Bombers: Our last Championship was just 6 years ago. We also won at home in 2013, and took 2004 and 2007. But Damn, do we Blow.
@@michaelpagano7819 At least y'all aren't the Yankees. Dear God they're gonna continue to Suck for 6 more seasons at least.
@@Tornado1994 imo. And maybe this opinion could be invalid. But with basically the same team in 2017, under Girardi, they almost made tbe World Series. They would have won it that year.. if it wasn’t for the cheating Astors. As soon as you got a “players manager”. You are doomed..

I’m a diehard stl cards fan. I couldn’t agree more with this breakdown. Refusing to spend real money, banking on nostalgia and hoping your starters being historically bad was a fluke?! Best case scenario: anywhere from 5 under to 5 over .500 and definitely no playoffs
Calling Mookie Betts a corner outfielder is like calling Mo Rivera a relief pitcher. Technically correct but incredibly dumb thing to say.
I've mentioned this before, but I just love how you use video game music for the background

As much as I like Ohtani, I hope the Dodgers still don't win. Their fans are like Yankees fans on steroids that have somehow even more anger issues.
Same, though I speak as a Diamondbacks fan hoping we get the return with the proper World Series win this season now.
@crazyluigi6664 I hope they pull the same thing again lmao. I loved the chaos of "we barely snuck in and didn't have a good season, but screw it, we'll win anyways!"
I really hoped for them to win the world series, but that is partially due to my bias of not liking the anger issues that makes up the entirety of the Dallas/Arlington/Fort Worth area of Texas.
