I was about 5 when this happened. I still remember the panic that spread across the country when those kids were found. At that age, being a kid that I was, I had no concept about what was going on. All I could recall was that many mothers including mine warned us not to go out alone especially around dusk time. Then when Lim and the two women were executed back in November of 88, it gained widespread media attention. I mean this was one of Singapore's most prolific crimes. So naturally it got media highlights. Not to mention that this was THE SECOND LONGEST TRIAL in the history of the country. And it got my attention too since I was about to start my high school years. I learned of how horrific and gripping the case was that my adolescent mind became scared too. I still remember how I had night terrors after learning more and more about the case. I'm already in my late 40s now. So I reckon that this case would be known any Singaporeans my age or older. And till this day, when anyone mentioned 'Adrian Lim' or the 'Toa Payoh murders' they'll definitely recall how sensational the case gripped the nation. Anyway, I must say that you guys really covered this case in very comprehensively covering everything from Lim's background to his black magic apprenticeship to the court hearings.
My husband went to Singapore, and said, you can’t throw out your gum in the street, but you can buy a young child for you know what in the clubs at night. Crazy!
So my husband was in the military and sent to Singapore for a joint military training with the Singapore military back around 2012. They had 1 full day to do whatever they wanted so him and some buddies went to a mall and around evening they were at a bar and were told by locals that on the floors at the top of the mall were strip clubs and brothels. They didn’t take the chances and left but fact that this is common knowledge out there is horrible!

1:10:52 You're correct, you never really go into remission like with cancer, you're just between episodes basically. My ex husband is bipolar with schizophrenic tendencies and even on meds, you can still have episodes. They hopefully won't be as intense with the proper meds, but still can be nonetheless present. It can make you much more suggestible, you're not grounded in reality during an episode. It's really one of the most unpredictable and difficult to treat mental Illnesses
I’ve been wondering if some mental illnesses are the cause of something spiritual. Like how when ppl are possessed they know spooky things they shouldn’t. Fortunately I don’t have any closely related experiences, so idk if this is even at all a probable theory. I just wonder… Maybe that’s why it can affect your bloodline, cos what if it’s not simply due to genetics?
@@robinmcinarnay7827 science shows the physical chemical imbalances in a person's brain especially with mental illnesses like schizophrenia and bipolar, as well as depression and even ADHD. That's how we're able to medicate it because we can see what chemicals are lacking and balance it out. Anything in your family's bloodline is going to have a chance of presenting itself in a person. When a person is having intense delusions, suggesting that it may be something spiritual could have a drastic downfall to that person's mental state. Does having mental illness often make people more perceptive to the tiny things others may not pick up on? Absolutely. Does that mean they're possessed? No.

20:28 any sacrifice made to Kaali is done with evil intentions. In India people go to a Tantric who would do some type of black magic that required some type of sacrifice usually young children. That is the intention of the client. In actuality Kaali is in no way evil.
