      @@ExploreJimny Always a good idea to thoroughly clean the underside especially when near saltwater, the corrosion protection on the Jimny from the factory is non existent and it will rust away very very quickly.

    Awesome video! New owner of a Jimny here. We drove it on the beach one time briefly, I guess I need to do a clean like you did with the sprinkler and chassis! I still haven’t done my oil, water check. How was it like driving Jimny on the sand?

      Thanks so much! I definitely recommend cleaning the chassis twice just to be on the safe side 😄 The jimny just floats on the sand which is so much fun!

    Hey team, did you PPF or any other paint protection at all on your Jimnys?😊

    • @ExploreJimny
      @ExploreJimny  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey! No I don’t actually have any ceramic or similar paint protection on the Jimny 😊 I just make sure to clean it regularly and use wax shine etc to keep it fresh.

    Thank you for sharing the lovely tips. I‘ve just picked up my Jimny in Perth WA and literally, it cost half a year to get my Jim delivered. I wonder if the windows at the rear are also recommended to be tinted with sunscreen film as they are already released in a dark colour?

    • @ExploreJimny
      @ExploreJimny  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, thanks so much! That's awesome :) No I don't think that's necessary. I didn't tint my back windows because they're already so dark, but I would tint the side windows for sure (passenger and driver) + back door.

      @@ExploreJimny Thanks for the clues to me. Have you ever found the back windows (2 sides) take effect against UV since they were released in dark? I was freaked out with the sunburn in Perth o(╥﹏╥)o but it's less economical to get my whole Jim tinted.

    What brand pressure washer gun do you use?

    • @ExploreJimny
      @ExploreJimny  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used the GERNI pressure-washer from Bunnings - worked super well and they cost about $150 :)

    Hi, what fittings did you use to adapt the chassis cleaning nozzle to a garden hose?

    • @ExploreJimny
      @ExploreJimny  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Just a normal fitting you'd use for the garden hose, you can buy them at Bunnings - if that was what you're referring to? :)
