I see how exhausting it is to try to remember and narrate what happened. My father is a very jealous person, an alcoholic and would beat up his wife/girlfriend regularly on top of insulting her. And, he would not admit it or did not know about it. The wife/girlfriend looked like they were crazy making things up.

He has a history of aggression and violence. Regardless of what Amber has or hasn’t done, he’s not the angel you think he is.

Because she is in violation of production order whereby she had to produce devices by 11/21 and she did not! Why? She produced tons of irrelevant stuff, but she violated that order. There’s a reason. Johnny also seems like a toxic person, undoubtedly exacerbated by the substance abuse, but I would bet anything that Amber was the one who introduced violence into the relationship. Johnny is heard in those tapes trying to walk away from the disputes to avoid violence but Amber does everything to make him stay and says she ‘can’t promise it won’t get physical’. She has a history of violence against romantic partners while Johnny doesn’t.

When I was abused I reacted rudely and sometimes violently because I have a bad temper. Yes, it made the abuse worse but I was happy to stand up for myself at all costs.

First, can we agree that she is someone who documents many things, especially those light bruises she showed in court? How come she did not take pictures of worst injuries and it wasn't like she didn't have camera. She took the picture of mirror and writing and yet she did not take her own picture and again she is someone who documents and take pictures every time she gets a chance. Second, the two photos which has been alleged to be edited as it was found on edit app with exactly the same file name - one had bruises and one had not. What she did say about that? She turned on the light for the second photo. Please look at those photos, it's identical. There is not even a point one difference, how is this possible? Third, about TMZ. TMZ can release videos in fifteen minutes only if it came directly from the source and it came a day before her deposition. Fourth, she claimed time and again that she wanted to protect Johnny and yet she went with a bruise to court. (Never mind TMZ employee telling they were tipped, knew which side the bruise is and was promised that Amber will pause for photo which she did). Fifth, those who abuse doesn't keep other people close by, especially not someone close to vicitms. Johnny gave and kept amber sister and friends around. Sixth, there are multiple audios where she admits hitting him and yet there is none of JD hitting her. Seventh, she told her closest friends about the abuse, documented the bruises and share everything to her therapist and yet she did not have one medical record of her brutal beatings which would have been a hard proof. Remember you don't have to show anything to theparist, they believe their client and support them. Eighth, she claims she used makeup to hide her bruises. Johnny with her big rings, even without a rings, she told that he hit her continuously on her face and she thought he had broken her nose. Do you know what happens to the face with such voilence? It doesn't just produce light bruises but the face it's become severely out of shape - swollen badly and some permanent injury especially if it is not treated and that cannot be covered by make up. Ninth in audios you can clearly see she is not afraid at all. I can continue but I hope you get the gist.

I don’t believe her but not because she took pics or recorded him. My ex would get black out drunk and abuse me and act like a fool then deny everything the next day so I started recording to prove that I wasn’t lying about his behavior. So its possible to record someone and still be in love with them there are other reasons behind it sometimes
I believe she decided at some point she didn't want to continue to live with his addictions...a fact he admits to having...but didn't want to leave the money and lifestyle he provided for her. She emphasized so much on his lavish gifts, expensive wine, private island, etc. etc. So she spent the remainder of their relationship framing him for abuse to take what she needed from him. Funny how she could record him once she got him riled up but not one single recording with any type of abuse happening? That's what I was thinking too. She made him sound terrible right from the start. She even described their courtship as him "grabbing her face" to kiss her, her feeling "startled" and "intimidated" - this is before any hitting - sorry, "punching" (cause there's obv. a clear line there) took place. She made him sound like such an aggressive, walking red-flag that you'd wonder why she even went there in the first place if any of it were true. (Not to mention the constant vibe you get watching her that this person is acting and putting on a show before my eyes).
Listen to the audio recording and imagine the friend that testified on behalf of him, remembered exactly, how AH had been rude to him, but not whether JD had been drunk or passed out or yelled at any time. Everyone was so convinced, he was talking the truth back than. And yet, there's noone here, apologizing.
Why did she agree to marry him if he was so awful to her according to her? If a guy treated me like that I would leave him. Period. So I'm not sure why she stayed especially before they were married.
People stay with their abuses because they are often emotionally abused as well-they believe the person loves them and that they are worthless and don’t deserve better or are even capable of being loved by anyone else and are so brainwashed into this because their abuses are constantly telling them so etc while also having massive swings in behaviour that make them also believe they can be extremely loving. Also a lot of people have other economic and family stresses that make it hard for them to leave.

I have photos of my abusive ex's damage from 11 years ago. I don't intend to ever show them, but 1) it is always advised to DV victims to keep record of incidents 2) because often victims come back to the abuser (on average, a victim will leave 7 times their abuser before they leave for good), these are important to keep as a reminder of the harm done when you're feeling like "maybe it wasn't that bad"/"maybe he was right and I was making a big deal out of nothing"

I've known people who were DV survivors, never a doubt it happened, and their mannerisms were nothing like Amber is *trying to convey. My own best friend has trouble looking at me when she talks about those things from 17 years ago. I've never heard of an abuser WANTING the victims family around. Typically they isolate their victim and try to take away their independence. Amber could have gotten help AT ANY TIME. She was/is a very lackluster actress and she saw Johnny as her ticket to success. I believe she stayed because she KNEW Johnny wouldn't hurt her. You're describing a sober abuser. Johnny sober would never attack Amber. But he wouldn't stay sober, that's the problem. I believe he MAY be a violent drunk who blacks out and doesn't remember what he did intoxicated. In that case, it would make sense. As far as Amber, people who are emotionally attached to the abuser are often very hesitant about leaving especially when all the problems would go away when he decides to avoid drugs & alcohol permanently. It sounds like he had information that she was cheating, and she may have been the one who didn't want a pre-nup. That part didn't track at all. You just have to read the UK verdict full elaboration document. it's a very long document, but pretty convincing. In the UK the defendant in the libel case needs to provide evidence that their printed statement was sufficiently truthful. They did.

The dates are documented for the court, that's not a problem. And sadly abusers know how to hit just hard enough to break your will and not your bones. That's part of their urge to control. It's not about injuring you, but showing they're in control.

First, can we agree that she is someone who documents many things, especially those light bruises she showed in court? How come she did not take pictures of worst injuries and it wasn't like she didn't have camera. She took the picture of mirror and writing and yet she did not take her own picture and again she is someone who documents and take pictures every time she gets a chance.
Second, the two photos which has been alleged to be edited as it was found on edit app with exactly the same file name - one had bruises and one had not. What she did say about that? She turned on the light for the second photo. Please look at those photos, it's identical. There is not even a point one difference, how is this possible?
Third, about TMZ. TMZ can release videos in fifteen minutes only if it came directly from the source and it came a day before her deposition.
Fourth, she claimed time and again that she wanted to protect Johnny and yet she went with a bruise to court. (Never mind TMZ employee telling they were tipped, knew which side the bruise is and was promised that Amber will pause for photo which she did).
Fifth, those who abuse doesn't keep other people close by, especially not someone close to vicitms. Johnny gave and kept amber sister and friends around.
Sixth, there are multiple audios where she admits hitting him and yet there is none of JD hitting her.
Seventh, she told her closest friends about the abuse, documented the bruises and share everything to her therapist and yet she did not have one medical record of her brutal beatings which would have been a hard proof. Remember you don't have to show anything to theparist, they believe their client and support them.
Eighth, she claims she used makeup to hide her bruises. Johnny with her big rings, even without a rings, she told that he hit her continuously on her face and she thought he had broken her nose. Do you know what happens to the face with such voilence? It doesn't just produce light bruises but the face it's become severely out of shape - swollen badly and some permanent injury especially if it is not treated and that cannot be covered by make up.
Ninth in audios you can clearly see she is not afraid at all. I can continue but I hope you get the gist.

I have photos of my abusive ex's damage from 11 years ago. I don't intend to ever show them, but 1) it is always advised to DV victims to keep record of incidents 2) because often victims come back to the abuser (on average, a victim will leave 7 times their abuser before they leave for good), these are important to keep as a reminder of the harm done when you're feeling like "maybe it wasn't that bad"/"maybe he was right and I was making a big deal out of nothing"

In fact, her whole testimony has been just that - a performance by a person with borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder, the overdramatic attitude is the histrionic aspect. The lack of taking blame and blaming everyone else is borderline. There are also some serious holes in her story. It sounds like he had information that she was cheating, and she may have been the one who didn't want a pre-nup. That part didn't track at all. She acts as if she isn't interested in his wealth, but she dwells on that over and over again.

The dates are documented for the court, that's not a problem. And sadly abusers know how to hit just hard enough to break your will and not your bones. That's part of their urge to control. It's not about injuring you, but showing they're in control.
