- Lawyers for Johnny Depp questioned the truthfulness of Amber Heard's claim that Depp sexually assaulted her with a liquor bottle.
Heard was cross-examined Tuesday after her testimony in Depp's libel suit against her.
Depp is suing Heard in Virginia's Fairfax County Circuit Court over a December 2018 op-ed she wrote in The Washington Post describing herself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse.” His lawyers say he was defamed by the article even though it never mentioned his name. The trial is now in its fifth week.
Depp's lawyer, Camille Vasquez, questioned Heard about a variety of incidents in which she says she was assaulted by Depp.
Questioning was particularly intense over a March 2015 fight the couple had in Australia, shortly after they were married, while Depp was shooting a fifth film in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise.
It was during that fight that Heard says she was sexually assaulted. Depp, on the other hand, says he was the victim, and that he lost the tip of his middle finger when Heard threw a vodka bottle at him.
Vasquez questioned why Heard never sought medical attention, even though she said her feet were cut by broken glass and she was bleeding after the attack.
“You're the one who assaulted someone with a bottle in Australia, isn't that right, Ms. Heard?” Vasquez asked.
“I didn't assault Johnny in Australia. I didn't assault Johnny ever,” Heard responded.

No matter what, it’s hard for a victim of abuse not to have big emotions while in the presence of and listening to their abuser recall tales (retold/rewritten tales) of their relationship.
While most of us believe that AH “had her ass handed to her” by Depp’s legal team, and I’m sure he did enjoy that, it’s important to point out his maintained composure and respectful demeanor throughout.

The rage and the deep sadness that my ex put me through was a result of his own rage and deep sadness. These situations are just never good, add drugs and they get so much worse.

It's great to listen to recordings like that of her true side and compare it to her fake acting on the stand and in interviews etc to know the world now knows her as he promised it wouldn't last and she now is screwed. He even says in that recording she planned to screw everyone over and he didn't want to be part of her plan. She is nuts!

I've revisited this trial often. Can't get enough. Obvious lies. Obvious truths. Ridiculous stories to logical stories. Great attorneys, super organized to horrible attorneys, totally unorganized. Awesome, numerous witnesses to few really bad witnesses on the other side...pictures, recording, etc. etc.

I couldn't agree more and have revisited this trial several times. What I just got during this section of cross examining Heard, is when she's asked about allegations she'd made against Depp, that he grabbed her by the public bone and so on, how she alleged that to have happened after her bday yet AH stated that she didn't realize exactly when he had allegedly grabbed her in such a crude manner, until she had all the evidence and while they were putting Hearts claims, their defense case together did she realize the dates of the allegations and yet a person thats speaking about things that had actually occured, stating the truth wouldn't need to review things they'd turned over to their attorneys, their staged photos and so on. Those events especially the events she's allegeding would've been stored in her long term memory but the details of lies one tells, is what cannot be remembered word for word, especially exact dates.
Same here. I have revisited the trial, the audio recordings and Turds 2015 depositions. I don't think I've seen any of her 2019 deposition. I don't know if it's because they haven't come out yet or I just haven't come across them, which would seem impossible. But the more I watch and listen to this over and over, I sure do pick up on a lot more. I knew she was a liar and gold digger from the get go, but I now see to what extent of a pos she truly is!!

When the audio tapes were being played, Camille and Ben would look at Johnny and you can tell their hearts are breaking hearing these things he went through. They are his team of lawyers but they are a team of lawyers that genuinely feel his pain. They truly care about Johnny as a human being. What a beautiful team.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is revisiting the trial. I can't believe it's already been a year since Johnny got his life back. Amber no longer resides in America. She has purchased a million dollar home in Madrid. Unfortunately for Amber the entire world knows who and what she is. @@jbrn4500 I was watching her deposition for the UK or the divorce and I can’t remember which one it was it was 2016 but Johnny’s attorney asked her if she had taken this specific medication and she answered it by saying she takes all the medication her doctor prescribes and so she ask again have you taken this specific medicine and she says I think I’ve already answered your question I take all of the medication my Doctor prescribes to me it’s like do you not understand the question? its an easy yes or no question ya know. Somethings I just can’t wrap my head around if she really believes what she’s doing and saying or if she knows she’s Being manipulative. I try to understand and want to think on her level but but I can’t and I’m sure that’s a good thing but I’d like to know just to ease my mind and understand how she thinks

There's a code common amongst certain criminals, and it is this, "Never tell" You just never admit to the deed...and don't do the opponents work for them. I lived in an abusive rleationship for 4 years. O have knife scars where I was slashed with his hunting knife. I have a large deep scar on my forehead where he smashed my head into the edge of the bathtub. Countless black eyes and bruises. I was too ashamed to seek help. I finally got out but he kept showing up at my workplace and causing trouble. I was eventually able to convince him I wasn't staying in the relationship and eventually met another man . He and I were at a party one evening and my abuser showed up there. He barged into the bathroom when I was in there ( the lock on the door was broken) and was begging me to come back to him; I assume he had not been able to find a new punching bag. My boyfriend heard me yelling for the abuser to get out of the bathroom and came to investigate. He was a big, very strong man and he gave my ex a couple of good hard punches and asked him how he liked being hit by someone stronger. The guy never bothered me again. It is embarrassing for us as women to not be able to take care of ourselves. I imagine it's the same for a man when a woman is abusing him. Johnny Depp was in several relationships before and not one woman ever said he was abusive. Ms Heard has some serious emotional and psychological problems.

Second hand embarrassment just doesn’t cut describing how I felt watching someone act so terribly thinking anyone over the age of 4 was on her level and taking it in. sometimes, people who have had experience with abusive relationships and find themselves in another think that they can do better at dealing with it this time, or think that weathering through the experience again will lead them to grow more resilient as a person. It's not 100% the person's fault they think this way, it's partly because of how they grew up, especially if the first instance of abuse came from parents, the experience during their formative years wires their behavior in a way that's really difficult to change even when they get older.

I can’t believe this woman has the audacity to call Johnny a drug abuser and a alcoholic when she literally admits to drinking two bottles of fine wine every day, consuming a variety of drugs herself, cocaine, ecstasy, mushrooms, marajuana and pills. I’m trying to figure out how she does not see herself as having major problems with drugs and alcohol.

I was thinking the same thing why did someone not request her to stop staring at the jury while drinking god knows what. If I were a juror I would have asked the judge to speak with her. However realistically I guess Amber can look wherever she wants to.
Whenever she was waiting for the attorneys to talk with the judge she would Scan the jury and I'm not sure but I assume every time one actually looked at her she would give this pathetic victim sad smile. I'm not sure if I saw Mr. deep look at the jury once other than when he was standing in respect for them to walk out, he could've made eye contact w any of them and possibly has an effect on them (And I only say that bc he was innocent if people actually believed he hurt her.. That definitely wouldnt be the case no matter who he is)… I feel he wanted to know he won fair and square maybe

I don't know of many abusers who beg their victims to let THEM go or beg them for permission to leave! Usually the victim is begging the abuser for them. I also don't know of many victims who verbally attack their abusers to the level, degree and frequency AH does to Johnny. She wrote in those text messages "I'm wandering about the building trying to find a way in" ... she was stalking him! A man would have been arrested for this behavior. Pages and pages of text messages over time he wouldn't respond to, her begging him to respond to. She wouldn't leave him alone. Even stalking his building looking for a way to break in.

When you're separated and maintaining a separate residence and the other (separated) spouse is doing this, it is considered stalking. Ask any law enforcement officer.

So my comment was based on the idea that a husband and wife are "together," there's a history of accidental and self inflicted harm from addiction, and the other spouse can not make contact with the at-risk spouse.

Her text messages over that period of time went on and on over a period of time that showed he had been at the other residence for quite some time, I don't remember how long, but she was begging him to come back. He was trying to avoid the drama. It wasn't a legal separation, just a physical one.
Him asking "May I go" speaks volumes. Any man especially an hostile or aggressive one could've been like I'm leaving, talk later! And leaves.. Nope this audio lasted one hour.. Him basically begging his abuser to let him go! He's not tryna trigger her and hearing this is so sad.. #JusticeForJohnnyDepp!

I'm defending the victims of DA and that OBVIOUSLY means both JD and Amber.
Amber has a borderline personality which means she most definitely provoked him (and we heard it on audio when she went into her laughing, taunting jag, which made ME want to knock her out) but it's also true that JD is guilty of DA, too.
You don't have to hospitalize a person to have abused them. DA includes psychological abuse which we saw on video, read in texts, heard in audio, and heard out of the mouths of his own friends.
It's right there for all to see.

I've watched all of this trial, and other than verbal arguments, no physical evidence exists that johnny abused amber. All ambers "photos" are debunked by MULTIPLE trustworthy sources. Like the police.
