Loved Brute's english va. He sounds sleezy without sounding perverse. Like his entire persona is a weird mix of genuine and fake that doesn't quite make sense with itself and is just really offputting.
Should listen to him in Japanese, he sounds so uncomfortably polite, but in an off putting way... lol

And then someone deconstructs the MILK TOOTH AC finds that it has 0 efficiency except for the bad cook, missiles? Slap the slowest single lock missile FCS, chainsaw? Use the best recoil dampening arms, boosters? Use the most EN inefficient boosters for heavyweights (the MULE boosters are MEANT FOR LIGHTWEIGHTS which is anything but MILK TOOTH)

While I never thought about it, doesn't Carla say the machine is perfect other than the pilot? Then again, maybe if you removed the weapons and looked at the body it'd look better and would be great with a different weapon set. I'm not sure, and not going to go check.
@@daxter8792 it really does have the wrong weapon set for the frame thats its issue its also using a weapon that barely recoils when used on an arm with high recoil mitigation but worst tracking
Okay, i'll just bite- how are mule boosters made for light mechs instead of heavy ones??? They say themselves they're for heavy load construction mechs. They have really poor speed but decent quick boost load limit and the most efficient vertical boost... which you dont need as much if you're a light build with a decent jump.

I tried his AC out, MILK TOOTH. After beating him in the Arena, I was surprised he was ranked so high. ESPECIALLY after using his AC. That thing sucks, does negligible damage, is slow, and runs out of energy absurdly quick. A total POS.

Enemy ACs have to cheat somehow. DEADSLED felt like an impossible fight but using the build allows for nothing like what I experienced
The difference is that the AI always knows where you are while a human has to keep focus on the target. Milktpoth is hard because you can't see sh*t through the flames. But the AI's vision is no obscured, because it doesn't have one it already knows where you are.

Carla lies so much in the series it makes her so interesting. the arena notes show that Carla was actually quite fond of brute until i assume he made his RaD faction

The liar part could be bs made up by Carla, the insane part not so much tho, but maybe he is just mentally ill and not full spycho. After all, you could say the same about Carla after her presentation if you think about It, so why trust some info that probably comes from her.
Well, he was close enough to know her secret project so I think there could be some history between the two, and this mission might as well have been Carla getting rid of her crazy ex while recovering her stuff.
During my first playthrough, I take 4:00 as my "F* the repair cost!" Signal

You're probably just another handicap on wheel tasked with a fu*ked-up mission no matter what you choose.
I love the Armored Core 6 setting.
Actually Carla still looks young in canon (many data entries comment on it), so there's a not so bad chance she sounds young too.

@@ishicucked It's possible, but no data logs mention Walter being unusually young, despite both he and Carla showing up, sometimes together, in them. Or, at least, none that I saw, maybe I missed something, since there's no achievement for all data logs, only for 10

I think Honest Brute is Carla's ex. They seemed close enough for him to know about her secret project. Carla is also crazy to some extent. He may have been clapping her until he had enough and ran away with her stuff.

He’s similar to Carla, they would have been close, the way they hide behind a level of traps, only he doesn’t lie about his intentions

One theory about him is basically, he is pretending to be insane after he saw Cinder Carla's real secret (being a part of the overseer and trying to do the fires of ibis: part 2 with that overed rail cannon) so he just ran with the cannon and other dozers while pretending to be insane.

Yeah, among JP players Honest Brute is actually quite popular due to the way the VA delivers his lines.
Also, he sounds like a handsome psycho compared to the English VA, which can help people endear to him

1:00 it took me watching this video to realize Honest Brute could hear Ayre too.
Brute’s response could just as easily be an acknowledgment that he knows 621 isn’t from Rubicon. Similar to how Rusty seemed to already be aware that 621 isn’t really “Raven.”

Brute is just a psyco, might be the result of his augmentation or just from snorting too much coral like Rummy. A lot of characters has some mental problem, especially augmented ones.

The english VA for Brute dropped the ball on the delivery of "slow, slow, quick quick slow." that line sounds significantly better in japanese.

@@user-uv5ld3cx5t it just feels less. ... methodical, less insane in english. The English delivery sounds too excited? Happy? I'm not really sure how to explain it. All I know is the English version sounds off compared to the Japanese version.
