I bought mine at an arboretum plant sale so I am pretty sure they are what they were labled as. I don't think they were in perfect health though. When this years needles come out maybe they will be darker. Where did you get your seeds?
@SaffronCity I checked out his site it looks pretty lagit but who knows. If the tree his collector collected the seeds from was identified correctly you should be good. In like 10 15 years you should be able to know for sure. I think I might order some seads from him myself. Oriental hornbeam for one.
They are uncommon from what I can see outside of China. I got them from an arboretum plant sale. There is definitely some potential in them I think. I have a particular love for pines I have 12 species at the moment plus some cultivars. If you haven't seen one check out Pinus Bungeana lace bark pine it is another gem from China the one I have is just starting to flake off bark now.
as long as u upload a video every day, i will be commenting every video at least once! i swear! 😉
Thanks I will do my best I appreciate it.

I planted some p. tabuliformis seeds and they came out much darker green than yours which is brighter, hopefully they turn out to be true.

That is a new species to me. Not so common for bonsai? I think I need to get one!
