Their Marimba Line is something I have only dreamed of in my sleep. I wish I was them.
honestly the best wgi show ive ever seen
I love that their entire marimba line is all female.
Not gonna lie, i cheered so hard for bass one.
Somebody needs to nerf Broken City's snareline omg
Leroy
Someone needs to calm those snares down, because they're too good, lol. It doesn't mean anything bad
In a video game(fighting games mainly) when a character is too strong/OP/Broken people say “nerf that character” meaning make it more balanced compared to the competition. NAH LET THESE GUYS STILL BE OP AF LOL
In the words of Papa Jeff Kaplan from the overwatch development team...I think it's less about NERF broken city than buff the rest of the world. Everyone else needs to step it up 😂
The writing and movement, style... are unique, a breath of fresh air in the activity... AWESOME!!!
Wow, thanks so much for the kind words, Morgan! Means so much coming from you!
Best,
Tony T
How is everyone dead silent after that beautiful beautiful bass solo 😭
David K i would be screamin my ass off! First time this vid came out i got chills at all the bass solos. Beautiful line.
you can here us scream during their run inside, the semis lots dont get as much traffic, also during their finals lot I was just to stunned to say anything at all, my tongue was down my damn throat.
I've been in awe of this whole production since I first saw it
This show is fire
I feel like the consistency of the upbeats at 1:19 doesn't get nearly enough credit.
@Mr. BeatsMachine - Yeah I didn't know about it until someone pointed it out.
Actually, they're on beats. I looked up the music. The Basses are playing off beats.
the mood is expressed deeply by each participant... Go for Broke!!!
I personally think they should’ve gotten a higher score than they got
Michael Spanedda ive heard the visual effect judge didn’t give them to big of a score because them simply looking down the whole time and looking up towards the end isn’t enough effect. Idk tho? I could be wrong. But their beats were top notch though
Man, you really didn't know who was gonna win in 2018, that year was fire
honestly best snarebreak this year....hands down
im talking about #1 cleanliness, and also substance within the break itself. Cold attack ruffs....like seriously 0_0
Years later still coming back to this absolute beauty of a show. Makes me tear up or cry every single time
Quads killin it, they play with some meat!! Boss guys.
Still the best WGI show of all time.
And all quite well executed.
The music is from another dimension of the universe.
Absolutely love this show!
Anybody know if the tenors are still using the Jackson's, or are they using the Carter's like the snares?
Tony Teleky
I've had that question all season and nobody ever answered. Lol, thanks for clearing that up!
the deadstroke at 3:54 gets me everytime
That snare line tho.....jesus.
2:49 Zach was into it haha
what picture is on the bass drum heads
What’s the song in the beginning
anyone know how the snares tape their sticks? i’d assume full stick because it’s Roger Carter but i’m just curious if anyone knows for sure
Bianca Law i believe it’s to the fulcrum with clear stick tape, but i may be wrong
@@InAllThings24 i personally know many world class snare lines with clear tape allow everyone to tape however they feel most comfortable, it doesn't affect sound
Do they ever have a guy on their marimba line?
Lmao look at Tyler at 2:50
Does anyone know the name of the song in the beginning of the video and at like 6:00?
Idk the song name but it’s Adam watt songs he is on TH-cam and Apple Music and if I’m not mistaken Spotify
What does the sample say at the beginning
AS Tech Reviews sending of light to follow through? I'm not really sure 😂
The good performance
Cleanest battery ever
ian groms..
@@brothaNblue interesting, i am aware of ian grom. i was just asking about why the homie just said his name. but thanks for your input homie
@@reesefleming1829 I was answering your question. They were just acknowledging the fact that they were using Ian Grom Mallets.
2nd person
huge props to bass 1, I would be so demoralized if i had to do the rest of the season in a wheelchair
Oh, what happened to her? Broken leg?
Axel Fagerberg 2 months late, but i’m pretty sure it was a torn acl
@@aidenbrandenburg9884 Ouch
