Some nice accessories. No a fan of the non-waterproof bags. Side cover replacements look solid.

Hi. Wind guard, side bags, seat cover, high seat are all Kawa, side panels, chain guard, fender eliminator are Barracuda moto, crash protectors are TBR. In the meantime I changed the horn for a Denali Soundbomb and installed a RiderScan blindspot mirror. I hope that helps.

Thanks for posting. Interested in the Ninja 650 Performance myself. How you liking sound of the Akro considering you do not have a removable db killer option? I read somewhere that someone removed the internal CAT which is easy enough to do and increased the depth and volume of the sound but no idea how that affected the fueling and would rather not have to mess about with it so how it sounds as is interests me.

Hey. I had both the db killer and the CAT removed, might post a video. Removing the db killer gives much more noise (I am using ear plugs now to filter the noise), and removing the CAT gives more power. For me it is a completely different bike now, much faster when accelerating. But the two do not depend on each other, you can have the CAT removed and leave the db killer. I don't see any change as regards the fuel consumption. Cheers.

Thats odd as it's my understanding in UK the Performance edition has an Akra that does not have a DB killer that can be removed. I am not bothered about MPG and when I say how the fueling might be affected I mean in terms of spread of torque and if bike runs leaner, had these issues on my Ducati Scrambler when removing CAT so had a remap.
What I do not know is how much better the Akra sounds then the stock exhaust on the other models. I have heard the Akra at dealers while it was idling but not when it has been ridden.

Hi there, what is the name of the windscreen protector you have?

It is a Kawasaki performance windscreen. Puig makes 2 models a short one like this and a little taller touring design which are very high quality. I have the Puig Touring screen and looks and works great on my Z650.

Hi, can you tell me which wheel tapes did you buy? And if the stickers with the "barracuda design" on the sides and on the plate are removable? Thanks

Hi. The wheel tapes were put on at the garage. Regarding the "barracuda design", yes, I think they can be taken off, they seem to be only stickers.
