MAN!!!! I've been trying to figure out how not to mess up the tips of my knives. Never I mean never has anyone I've asked or watched been like yeah just stop in the middle of the belt. Thank you so much!! I've been self conscious about how my tips look lol.

Hey you said to include a comment on what you'd like to see a tutorial on. Forging integral damascus bolsters and shaping them on the grinder would be my vote. It requires shaping the bolster and handle separately and I've just never been able to figure that out in a way that makes it easy. Thanks for all the knowledge.

I'm a certified personal trainer and one thing I always say is, "There's 101 ways to do this, we just need to find the way that works for you." Good to know it applies to multiple disciplines.

Hey Brother, as usual what an amazing educational, informative video. I've watched a many y-tube videos but none are as informative as yours. I/we all appreciate all of the time and effort you guys put into making these videos! I don't get down that thin before putting an edge on them and it's a bitch putting an edge on a thick knife! And yeah, I always use a gig to sharpen because I get an incredible edge. No more! Thank you for the videos, I've learned so much. Forever indebted! Jon

2:39 thinner cutting edges have good edge retention but it produces a longer burr which is much more difficult to remove without fracturing the cutting edge so most people think that it is unstable but it is just more difficult to get right
