I wouldn't necessarily call their 2-way game great, but offensively they're juggernauts. Barkov and Reinhart are just *chef's kiss* everywhere, though.
So many one-of-a-kind attributes with each of these two. Miko is rather big and strong. Mack is more average sized, but strong and plays angry. The ability for both of these guys to launch accurate 1-timers (similar to Ovi), off HARD passes, is ridiculous. Two on the same line is very rare. Hope they both stay healthy, as Rantanen is unstoppable paired with Mac, whereas Mac is unstoppable paired with anyone.....but together they can steal games. With the way Wedgewood is playing, and hopefully Blackwood as well, and with guys healthy, the Avs are not just a playoff team, but will be positioned to make a deep run..
Mack is a BIG MAN, lol, just not necessarily vertically. It's so amusing to watch someone try and tackle MacKinnon, only to get bounced back like a rubber ball.
Honestly, might as well call it trio. Lehkonen + MacKinnon is almost as scary, or Rantanen + Lehkonen. Avs have a friggin' stacked top 6. And then there's Toews/Makar... MacKinnon for Hart/Art, Rantanen for Rocket! My favorite team alongside Florida.
A fact most people do not know about. When MacKinnon is out of the lineup, Rantanen's PPG is higher. So anyone who says Rantanen is just a sidekick, are totally wrong. MacKinnon has 119 points in 119 games when Rantanen is not in the lineup. That of course is 1.00. PPG. His NHL PPG is 1,15 throughout his career. In Rantanen's case, he scores more points without MacKinnon than with him.
Love the video, but with a little constructive criticism. You (correctly) point out that they're full-ice awesome, but there's not a single D-zone, or even neutral zone highlight.
they are both very different in the way they play. Nate doesnt have the smooth skating of McDavid, but he has incredible burst speed, greeat puck handling, and can force himself into 1v1's with a tender. Mikko is is strong, but he lacks the finesse that Nate has. When he is bullying people while he has the puck its hilarious....but he has one of the best shots in the league. For sure better than Nate, and top 5 in the league. When they are going its fun to watch. I miss Landy with that net front presence, but Colton, Lehky, and Val have all done great this year being that disruptor

Mackinnon, Makar and Rantanen = best trio in the nhl
Yep exactly
Easily, and it's not even close.
I appreciate you highlighting Finnish players. Good to see Moose and MacKinnon doing their magic! Cheers from Finland!
Thank you for watching! I appreciate support.
This!

@@MaiettaSportsMedia My pleasure. Keep the great content coming. Appreciate your hard work
The Mittelstadt-Nichushkin line is doing great too. It’s gonna be a great rest of the season now that Georgiev is gone.
Sebastian aho is amazing two way forward and plays point per game and nobody talks about him. Do a video about him.
I did one on Aho 2 weeks ago. Here it is th-cam.com/video/_ppKdjLntvc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=RdI1xrchsbN_2ZiN
They really give the sweet vibes of Sakic + Forsberg era.
I agree
Another duo that plays a great 2-way game is Barkov-Reinhart.
@@Mulukkis yep exactly

@@VarjoPira Yeah, you're right. MacK-Rants are way more offensive and dominate the game mostly by keeping the puck in the o-zone.
plus makar's edgework is outstanding.
The moose is loose!!! Thanks!
🙌🙌🙌
Mackinnon: 45/85/130
Rantanen: 55/65/120
Makar: 25/80/105
My predictions for the big three’s season stats
That would be great

Rantanen doesn't need MacK to produce points

It’s hard to find those clips. But I will do my best to find some for the next video.

next month rantanen get that 14 million a season new contract or colorado sale mikko another team and get at least something in return.
The Avalanche will pay him
Thay are not good in the defence
ill still take mcdavo and draisatl
😬😬😬
Maybe they will win something in the future. There is always hope😂
You have a right to do so, but Nate and Mikko are more dangerous duo in NHL at the moment 😁
...and Rantanen / MacKinnon has won stanley cup. But, hey, there is no shame in finishing second.
@@TheLitokaira to be fair Colorado was a way better all around team when they won than Edmonton
