I’ll give some reasons why I didn’t consider some of your options.
The Standing Quarter Horse Mare- Too young to be the suprise model (I cap at least 4 years old in order to be qualified, will be viable in 2025)
Emerson- wasn’t used in the last year ( I only choose models that were used within the last year in order to qualify (outside of Breyerfest special runs))
Skipping Totalis since I have them
Forever Sage- her odds actually decrease due to a test model
Ruffian- hasn’t been used since 2021
Strapless and Justadream are being skipped since both ladies are there
Andalusian Mare- hadn’t been used since 2022
Lippi Mare and Wyatt are skipped,
But hey, we at least share a similar number 1 this time
Oooooh I love Wyatt as the top pick!!! I think Wyatt, Croi, then Desatado as my top 3 picks. With a mare hammy being honorable mention 😂

Oh my goodness - I didn't even think of the possibility of being Wyatt! That's my favorite mold ever - I would be over the moon!

I am selling digitally at Breyerfest! I have a con that same weekend that I'll be selling at, so I wish I could hang out during Breyerfest but I can't. But I'm gettin' that rainbow zebra, the blue roan Fireheart, and the Surprise Model!
Remember when Lonesome Glory was re-released as a mare accidentally? And all the idiots who already had the original Lonesome Glory were somehow angry and baffled that they'd wasted their money buying the exact same model again? Ah, model horse collecting.
Susecion being tied down by her foal and denied a Surprise chance being pointed out during a feminist-themed Breyerfest is HILARIOUS. Well done!

This is the first time I’ll be attending Breyerfest virtually. I know it’s a stretch, but I’m hoping my favorite mold Bluegrass Bandit gets chosen 🤞

Desatado as a mare is super intriguing - I feel like that has a decent chance, it feels fitting for the overall theme
I’d LOVE to see the Arabian mare with her head lowered be a surprise. She’s one of my favorite molds, and I only have 1 from like 2015. I want to conga her so badly but all other molds are either special runs, auctions, or just so limited and hard to find with a reasonable price. I was going to go to Breyer fest this year (more so a very strong idea) but I think I’ll go next year. Can’t wait to see what everyone attending will be taking home !!
I was really hoping for Silver this year.
He's so popular I wouldn't be surprised if Breyer uses him anyway this year or some other year!
Silver did get used as a mare the ONE time in 2016 as the deco pegasus SR, and he would be AWESOME, but I would cry 🤣 my conga!!! 🤣🤣

Ughhhh if they use Wyatt I’ll cry 😭 my complete obtainable conga will be ruined! 🤣 but I do remember someone on Facebook saying they were suspicious at the lack of stock horses in the BF model line up this year… which makes any stock horse mold maybe a stronger possibility of happening??
I honestly would not be surprised if weather girl makes an appearance for us. I really think Breyer has a strong possibility of throwing a curve ball our way this year and released Picante to throw us all off! Butttt. My gut is still really leaning towards the Arabian mare/oasis! I couldn’t tell you why, but I just think she would be a really cool surprise model!
Ive been saying Wyatt all along. The lippizan mare is also a possibility given the new Premier Club stallion that came out last year, and is in the sr line for this year

Watch it be Wixom. But an absolutely well painted Wixom since Breyer is probably aware a lot of people hate it. XD
We just got a new lippy stallion. I want the mare variations. The one thing about lipizzaners is they don't have as many color combos to go into realistically so fun colors for breyerfest would be something special.
I’m having a friend pick up the Ashquar and Dundee models for me at Breyerfest. I didn’t like the rest..which I’m actually happy about because this hobby is expensive lol
I had a dream it was Croi and I'm worried she has a decent shot 😂

I love watching these, even though I have no skin in the game, lol! ❤ I hope it’ll be the Connemara mare, tbh. Idk about Weather Girl, she has balance issues, or she did? It’s one of those rare molds I got back in the day that I was so disappointed with I returned it. Flimsy and didn’t stand up. Maybe they fixed her… idk, I’m not sure at all in general but I think it’ll be a traditionally mare mold. Just guessing tho….
Weathergirl is still very tippy! Usually her legs have to be heated up a bit and moved so that she stands better. Sometimes if it's done right she can stand fairly well.
@@StormyStrikeVideos Yeah, personally if I were in charge I wouldn't be happy handing out a bunch of surprise models that might or might not stand 😅 I'd have to test every single one, which I'm sure would be insane... I also found her to be really light weight and cheap-feeling. I remember her being super unpopular, too, tho I could be wrong. Now I feel like now I'm seeing her on people's shelves. I guess it's a fashion thing with the newer Arabian mares, her stock going up as Justadream/Make A Wish falls somewhat.... Also, I agree Susecion will likely never be sold alone. She looks too pregnant, too much like she's reaching for her newborn foal, to go it alone. She is a pretty mold, though. I have Zion and Moab (at least until I sell them, lol. Way too expensive for me to keep. But they're very pretty, imo.)

So basically, I should pay extra special attention to your number 1, 3, and 6 guesses
During one of the vids released by Breyer one of the hosts mentioned that this year’s Surprise is on a Moody mold & since BGB is the Volunteer model the front runner is now SJustadream/Oasis. Lots of head & tail variations for that mold so it would make a good choice.
If you happen to know which video that was, please let me know! There has been nothing officially from Breyer that I've heard of, unless you are thinking of the Christmas "surprise" model which in a post and possibly the winterfest video they said it was a Moody mold. There was a rumor going around on FaceBook before that started by people mixing up the 2 models.

It’s mentioned in a TH-cam vid by Khrysalis Studios. The vid is titled “SundayStudio Stream With Special Guests!” & it was posted on April 14th. At the 59:30 mark the host says they know it’s a Moody mold.

I don't think it's going to be Saige, as she's been a prize model last year for the BCC (and I would die if its another I conga this year 😂). Originally my top guesses were Totilas, Lipizzaner mare, Strapless, and Emerson with maybe possibilities of the Andy mare and Ruffian as well.. but it's apparently been confirmed that it will be a Moody mold, so now I'm stumped. LOL But I think Goffert, Justadream, Marabella, and idk maaaaaybe the ASB stallion or Huck as a mare are good possibilities.
I completely forgot to mention that Saige was used for the BCC last year 😂 I wouldn't make that totally rule her out? but does lower her chances I think.

I'm not sure where you heard about it being a Moody mold but there was a rumor about that going around on FaceBook a while ago that was debunked (someone got the surprise mixed up with the Christmas Gambler's Choice model.)
@@StormyStrikeVideos Oooo I thought it did! I thought when I was doing my list I didn't see where one has been used, but I probably missed something somewhere. Knowing Breyer, this will be the year they do 😂
The Moody Mold thing I heard on one of Khrysalis Studios streams. I don't think TH-cam will let me link it, but it was the really long 3 hour studio stream she had about a month ago where she had two guests and were talking about Breyerfest and Breyerwest. I think the conversation is somewhere around the end of the 1 hour mark into the 2nd. She really didn't touch into it a lot, but I'm wondering now if someone had heard something at Breyerwest and they got confused.
If it's Croi or the Mustang Mare, I'm in trouble. I believe the issue with the Mustang mare and her popularity or lack thereof when she first released as Forever Saige was her coloring/ markings. It's an optical illusion that made her look squatty. I don't think Firefly is a good candidate because she's small. I'm honestly hoping it's a mold I don't like, so I won't want them. Wixom has been used a lot.
Hoping it's a mold you don't like so you don't want it is a huge mood 😂 Honestly me this year. I hope it's a mold I'm not really crazy for so I don’t spend more money Haha
IMO the Mustang Mare/Forever Saige always looks better in person than pics. Her head/neck just look wonky when the image flattens her out. In person, though, I really adore her. People also hated on Croi initially b/c of her lip. I hope everyone's over that gripe by now, though 😂
I am leaning towards Ruffian because: last year it was announced that Ruffian would be moved and reburied at Claiborne along side Secretariat, making it possible to see her grave while at BF. Also Claiborne just announced a Life of Ruffian tour they have started that starts with her as a foal , carries through her career and tragic end, with the new burial and headstone. Plus the "Runs the World" title lends itself to the idea of a "running" mold -- though that may be too obvious. And Breyer has certainly shot down the obvious before, just to keep us guessing! And a colorway of the "Surprise" logo on Ruffian would look fantastic!
Feels a little bleak, the story of a mare run till she died ("whose grave you can visit, kids!") to use on a fluffy "girl power" event attended by a lot of horse crazy children and horse savvy adults. Especially after 12 horses died on Derby Day alone last year - and basically nothing has been done about it. I think people would be pretty ticked if they featured racing like that. I do like the mold, though I agree with the OP that it having a stand hurts its chances.

They did not all die on that day, but even one horse dying is too many. Fortunately this year turned out much better. We will see what this Saturday brings....

I usually don't even consider the test models like that as I imagine someone just grabs something off the archive shelves semi-randomly to put up for CC test releases xD but they very well may be more deliberate about them.
