Alright man. You are great detailed in instruction but no need to drain antifreeze! Or remove upper cooler hose. Rotate the fan from driver side to the top and it comes out. Hour saved. Keep up the good work and videos.
have a 2016 Taurus sel that needs this done, I've been putting it off but summers here now so this weekend no more excuses, tks for this video it will help big time.
The separation gap is because it used as both a condenser for the AC and a transmission cooler. The top part is the transmission cooler, which is usually 5 or 6 horizontal runs.
Not 100% the same as the front bumper covers are a different design. Other than that, what I am doing here is about 90% the same process for the 2008 Ford Taurus. Thanks for being here.
Change every single one big you have the kit. The link is in the description. It's easy. Its only a few locations that need the gasketed o-rings. For me, it was just time. I didn't want anything to leak.

Shop quoted $800 for this job. At least now I know it really is pretty involved. Thanks for the video!
Yes sir. Super involved. If you have the tools just follow everything I did and you can do it too.
Take care.
Excellent video explaining in detail on how to remove ac condenser
@@davidhernandez8184 Thanks. I hope this video helps as many people as possible.

I followed the Ford Service Manual.
Great job man Very helpful.
@@lubsey I appreciate you. More to come within the mkS Playlist on this channel.

Right on.
I know you can do it!
THANK YOU BRO YOU SAVED MY LIFE !!!!
I am happy to help. Here is the video to remove the actual A/C compressor if you need it: th-cam.com/video/UsYzUBvZqvo/w-d-xo.html

Indeed. Cheers bro
AWESOME VIDEO THANK YOU
You bet
Good stuff man !
Merci JD.
Yes it is because it is a condenser and a trans cooler it’s the two seperate sections.
Cheers mate
ive seen that slice cut on few other videos..same area
Someone mentioned below is supposed to be like that. Either way, it was bad and leaking at other spots.
Nice video. Is this the same for a 2008 Ford Taurus?

@@JCMFixThanks man
@@henryb.7723 No problem.
@@JCMFix I might have missed it - how did you evacuate the refrigerant first?
@@henryb.7723 17:24 I mentioned it there.
Here's the video on how to remove and replace the a/c compressor: th-cam.com/video/UsYzUBvZqvo/w-d-xo.html
What would do if you had ORings kit 1 would put as needed or every single one of them?
Change every single one big you have the kit. The link is in the description. It's easy. Its only a few locations that need the gasketed o-rings. For me, it was just time. I didn't want anything to leak.
seems simpler to take off the front bracket above the condenser instead of draining and removing the radiator
If that works, you may be right Adam.
