There needs to be a mii channel/button added to that. The way it is now is not user friendly at all and it's such a pain to get to. With the wii it was so easy to access and it made it a lot more fun. This is probably the reason I had so many miis on my wii but not on my switch. Also, there needs to be music themes for the home screen (preferably something simple and subtle like the wii) and the different apps like settings, eshop, etc. And finally they DEFINITELY need to add the mii channel theme and add a mii plaza for the miis to walk around on as that was half the fun. I hate the way it is right now because it makes the miis look so static.

I don't care about keeping the joycon but please keep the hybrid function. People want a home console for more power but look at the steam deck. Sure it's $100 more but it's so much more powerful that Nintendo could find a halfway point and have a $300 mid-power hybrid. Maybe I'm just saying this because I use both my switch, and my steam deck in handheld 99% of the time, but I personally believe it's a much better idea than ditching handheld mode entirely.
i never used the stand, i just bought a 3$ phone stand with rubber grips and adjustable angle and its perfect for all kinds of stuff but ESP putting my switch on it....ever since getting that i pretty much forgot it came with a 'stand' lol
My first set of joy-con’s and the first replacement one started to drift, but it took forever and my new ones that I got almost 3 years ago now, show no signs of drift yet.
The problem with Pokémon running on the switch isn't the console. It's the rushed, unoptimised, clone games that come out every couple of years. Breath of the wild is a way more technically impressive and it runs well on the switch. I think that Pokémon just needs to spend more time on their games
I actually agree with the take at 14:04 Look man, just because there’s almost every color under the sun there doesn’t mean they’re good, especially the combos. I mean, I think pink/green, red/blue and gray are good, but often I can’t decide because I would much rather buy new joycons and then buy skins to replace the og ones rather than going for a certain color combo. Also it woulda been so easy to make pastel versions of the classic red/blue combo, as well as a darker version, and I bet those would explode in popularity.
This frustrates me so much, not everyone lives in the states and can get their hardware repaired that easily. If I sent my joi coins to repair it would probably take 3 months and be lost in traffic.
Nintendo Switch Sports is amazing in my opinion. It’s way better than Wii Sports (It is worse than Wii Sports Resorts tho, but that game is my childhood) I remember when it came out I bought it and played tennis and bowling and I did start to regret buying the game. But when I played soccer I loved it so so much (I hate soccer irl so I didn’t expect to like it that much). The entire game is worth it for me bc of soccer and volleyball, those are so great!
The Wii-U is, in a literal sense, the better console in some ways. Like how the Nintendo Switch can barely handle Pokemon Violent- i mean Violet, yet the Wii-U can handle games like Pokemon Violet without much issue.

ok british person what the fuck is mantle under the tv
Just a few days ago I played go vacation wnd needed to do a shooting game with joycoin drift, it was PAIN.
I actually do like the ‘d-pad’ on the joycons bc when I play a 2d game using the dpad on my pro controller it gets the button inputs confused a lot
My game card flap works, and all of my siblings' do too, I didn't know that was a problem
For the themes one I feel like they should have done like what the ps5 did like when you are going to select a game the background changes to each game and the background should be like a game poster or something around there
In my country we don’t have official hamburger support, so no free cheese replacement
I also agree with the dock only switch. They have the lite side already, why not make like the switch Heavy.
Personal I only want music in the eshop and we need to get that but I don’t really want any on the Home Screen I like the clicking sound
12:08 i think he means that the joy-cons slide out Then the switch falls.
12:09 ok this is true I will be carrying my switch caring it by the joy con and the joy con will slide out and my switch will fall and get damaged
I hate not being able to play retro games offline
i never used the stand, i just bought a 3$ phone stand with rubber grips and adjustable angle and its perfect for all kinds of stuff but ESP putting my switch on it....ever since getting that i pretty much forgot it came with a 'stand' lol
My game card flap works fine.
Me too!
Same
What do you mean the game flap doesn't work? It literally works for me
My first set of joy-con’s and the first replacement one started to drift, but it took forever and my new ones that I got almost 3 years ago now, show no signs of drift yet.
The problem with Pokémon running on the switch isn't the console. It's the rushed, unoptimised, clone games that come out every couple of years. Breath of the wild is a way more technically impressive and it runs well on the switch. I think that Pokémon just needs to spend more time on their games
12:44 My flap works perfectly. I think I was lucky...
I actually agree with the take at 14:04
Look man, just because there’s almost every color under the sun there doesn’t mean they’re good, especially the combos. I mean, I think pink/green, red/blue and gray are good, but often I can’t decide because I would much rather buy new joycons and then buy skins to replace the og ones rather than going for a certain color combo. Also it woulda been so easy to make pastel versions of the classic red/blue combo, as well as a darker version, and I bet those would explode in popularity.
cold take: we need a button to lock the controllers with the switch they are so sensitive to light movement
My right joy-cons both broke in the exact same way I have to repair it again after like 2 months
I miss the tv channels from the wii they should have brought those back
at least when joy cons drift, they drift better than you can
This frustrates me so much, not everyone lives in the states and can get their hardware repaired that easily. If I sent my joi coins to repair it would probably take 3 months and be lost in traffic.
Why are you using those toys anyways
online is the best
The game flap on my switch works and closes properly
Nintendo Switch Sports is amazing in my opinion. It’s way better than Wii Sports (It is worse than Wii Sports Resorts tho, but that game is my childhood)
I remember when it came out I bought it and played tennis and bowling and I did start to regret buying the game. But when I played soccer I loved it so so much (I hate soccer irl so I didn’t expect to like it that much). The entire game is worth it for me bc of soccer and volleyball, those are so great!
I just ripped the cartridge cover off my switch :P
The Wii-U is, in a literal sense, the better console in some ways. Like how the Nintendo Switch can barely handle Pokemon Violent- i mean Violet, yet the Wii-U can handle games like Pokemon Violet without much issue.
Still waiting for the invite to your birthday Thomas XD
