After we hit +New Project you then say to add the background but you are not clear as to how to add the background because the add remains grayed unless you click on the video of which you want the background to be removed. Once clicking on video there is a button that says remove background but it doesn't seem to remove the background. Thoroughly confused?

@@Fell-Purpose I used CapCut, you'd have to have a background that really doesn't match any color thats on you (well if that was obvious) but it worked pretty well for me!

Update - Kapwing has removed the effects option on free and wants you to pay $200 a year to use it.

Can any of them export with a transparent background?
No but you could use it to remove a background then place a green screen background onto it before exporting.

At the time, Kapwing may very well have provided it for free - Unscreen provides it for free too, at the cost of a watermark being added
Kapwing is free for videos up to 7 minutes in length. Use CapCut instead it’s 100% free for background removal
