Is it because instead of having chlorophyll at that place, it has chromoplasts there..? , i mean, non green pigments do qualify as carotenoids or chromoplast proper..right?

Only parts with chlorophyll can perform photosynthesis because it is chlorophyll that converts light energy into chemical which is further used in photosynthesis. If the part is not green then it can be chromoplast.

So i have silly doubt here so why there is presence of pink or other colour in some plants leaves are fully red or other colour with no green colour. So where does photosynthesis takes place in that kind of plants which has no green pigment..?
