Evanescence was insanely popular in the 2000's, in a similar way Linkin Park was. It was hard to find any teenager of that generation who didn't know who they were. Amy's voice is incredible and she's without a doubt one of the best female vocalists out there.

The remarkable thing about this is that this song came out in 2003 and Amy Lee is still belting it out with just as much, if not more power than before. She is one of those vocalists that can absolutely fill every single inch of a place with her voice. Haunting & beautiful. They are great live. Check the official video out of this song. I liked how you pick up stuff by everyone in the band, not only focusing on Amy, your reaction is on point, drummer is amazing, Will Hunt is a beast on drums, and even tho this is live performance it was equalized, her vocals sound even better in other live videos, but ofc the best way to listen to them is in the flesh going there to see them live in concert. Her lycis are amazing besides all this talent in her singing and writting. Their album The Bitter Truth is my current favorite one.
I know live versions evade copyright issues but I would 10000% recommend listening to the studio version of this song for your persons; enjoyment. It’s *amazing*.

This is pretty good for a recorded live session. The only reason I don't listen to live versions is because it's never that great when recorded. Live sessions need to be experience....live...in person. The studio version is so much better digitally.
They've had many amazing moments, yet people still think that they're just "Bring Me to Life" and "My Immortal". C'mon guys. They've produced three more albums and a Synthesis tour since then. Well they do have a backing track with the strings and among the strings and programming or electronic sounds they add some higher harmonies and backing vocals.... And since 2015 Amy has asked Jen Majura to do all the low harmonies, Jen has a deeper voice so it's a nice bass boost to Amy's performance, songs like The Change, CMWYSober, Made Of Stone, Lithium, among a lot of the new ones and other songs sound great live bc there's a depth in sound once you have 2 voices and one is just doing low harmonies while Amy is doing all these amazing main vocals throughout the concert, so I definitely recommend seeing them live, going to their concert is an experience that is not able to be picked up by smartphones nor HD studio cameras, her vocals hit different once you are there in front of them playing.

Maybe if they do one big acoustic set that would be interesting to add or if they ever made a featuring in a big TV event or something.

Seeing a lot of Nightwish and Metallica soundboard versions of their songs from their live gigs just put a whole lot of perspective on everything. I don't know how or why their live recordings are practically flawless when compared to this... Love the band, not the mix on display here.
