Welcome back to the channel where this week we are at Mullion Golf Club which is the most South West Golf Course in England.
Myself and Lester have this week been joined by a fan's favourite Will Farley (Wilbur) and Head Coach at Torquay James Urquhart.
Just a few miles from the most Southerly point on the British mainland, Mullion Golf Course epitomises the best of playing golf in Cornwall. The far reaching views from the holes on the Towans above the cliffs are magnificent. From the Towans, the course descends to the links holes by the beach and Gunwalloe Church before a testing uphill par 5. The following stunning hole once more descends downhill towards the beach.
Although just over six thousand yards off the white tees, do not be deceived, the course is a challenge. As with most coastal courses, the wind is a significant factor and accurate shot making is needed. With possibly the best greens in Cornwall which are in excellent playing condition all year round you can be assured of a testing putt! However, any frustrations immediately fade away with the beauty of your surroundings. Be calm, the next shot will save the day!

Really enjoying this series. I was fortunate enough to play here on holiday a couple of years ago. Holes 6 through 10 are absolutely stunning.
The 6th, 7th and 10th are 3 of the best holes I have played anywhere. And the rest are very nice too.
My favourite coarse ! Played it with me son couple of years ago just gorgeous!! A definite must play coarse 😊
Another great start to the week. Shame I was eating dinner as Will and Lester were discussing James' personal issues ! Course looks amazing and what a location. The old folks home have reserved your places ! Will wants your pro shop in 5 years time Dan ! Some smart arse, much more funny than me, suggested Lester need to change his nickname now he's a veggie from Mince to Quorn, brilliant comment !!

Bernie has taken advice from Big Oggie and putting 42 yds to about 10 feet, having already birdied 2......what on earth is going on!!
To paraphrase the great Morecambe and Wise, when Eric was playing the piano with Andre Previn. Dan is playing all the correct fairways, but not necessarily in the right order!!

What a great start - have been looking forward to seeing how Mullion plays - down there on the 26th June - so far it does not disappoint - this is going to be a great match up - can't wait until tomorrow!!
Its just the weather you have to hope for as the course is superb and if it is sunny with the breeze bring sunblock as you will burn.

Great to see Coach Jamesey out on a vlog, nervous, so he was on on the SAM Lav earlier, interesting to see a putting guru using a Ping, and using it to great effect, good chance for a what in the bag with both James and Will although I think Will has just changed the big dog.

He and Dave Thomas re-designed a couple of the holes some time ago now.
James it is alright mate, my 7 iron was damaged and the pro at my club has taken a long time to repair it. Can never trust those golf pros.....

@Dan Hendriksen Golf. Once again, another enjoyable course vlog. Did you get the ball marker I sent at Christmas? I was very disappointed you went into lockdown then but glad to see you all back doing what you do best.
This is a beautiful course, particularly down near the beach. I remember one par 4 on the back nine next to the members’ practise area where there were so many golf balls on the fairway that it took us 5 minutes to find our actual balls amongst them. Truly Cornish.

The 7th hole at Mullion GC has to be one of the most picturesque in the world. Long par 4 into the breeze normally off the sea, well protected with church cove in the background.
Its 430 yds of the white tees and some days it plays as a par 5 when the breeze is up.

Family holiday to Cornwall this year with all the travel restrictions. The club might accidentally be left in the car 🤣🤣😉
You should leave your clubs in the car and definitely play there.Great course and spectacular scenery. Your family can enjoy Church Cove beach at the bottom of the course whilst you play.

Hotel has been in episodes of Doc Martin too I think, for a hotel with serious history look up the hotel on Burgh Island.

Lester, on a serious note, if you do go veggie, make sure you eat things like spinach and other green veg with plenty of iron or you run the risk of becoming anemic. Trust me, it’s not nice.
