    I engrave a lot of keychains and things, I usually use a lint roller or painters' tape to remove the debris off the acrylic blank before removing it from the mat, it also saves from getting more debris on the mat. pro tip: put self-adhesive laminating sheets down sticky side up on a new strong grip mat to save the mat from getting destroyed over time.. if too much debris gets on the mat, I just change the laminating sheets instead of buying new mats.

    Appreciate it ! (this might b a repost). The odor of some of the colors. More importantly when using a sealer used in a ventilated area.

    Cricut just needs to start giving free fonts that allow solid letters and the foiler tip needs to be twice as wide - even the wide one isnr wide

    I am still really struggling with my design and this method. The lines are too far apart so will not fill out my design. I have tried making my design smaller and then enlarging after slicing but it just gives a striped look not the blocked out silver you are getting from your sliced layers. Any help would be appreciated!

    Thank you, Jennifer, for all your Cricut tutorials. I definitely needed pointers for filling in fonts by using the pen operation. It makes the project look way more appealing than having to offset the image repeatedly. I just have one question for you regarding enlarging the image by 125%. if the image is 2.5 inches, wouldn't it change to 5.625 inches instead of 2.75 inches? I'm just a little confused about how large the image needs to be before slicing.

    No matter what I do, I can't get this tutorial to work for me. When I click the rectangle, then click on Medium Foil, it turns it into an outline automatically. Whereas yours stays as a filled box. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, can anyone help me out? :(

    I purchased the exact 3.5"/2mm acrylic rounds and night light bases you had linked in your video and the acrylic rounds are too thin to fit into the base.....am I missing a step or doing something wrong? I have watched and rewatched your video and it doesn't seem like I am..... BTW, thank you so much for taking all the time you do to not only post your videos, but also offer all of your files for free!! I have learned so much from you and my cricut would probably still be in the box from last Christmas if it wasn't for you, so I appreciate all your hard work so much!!!

    • @JenniferMaker
      @JenniferMaker  ปีที่แล้ว

      The rounds do not fit tightly in the base if that is what you mean. They will wiggle but unless you are moving them around, you don't notice. They look great sitting on a surface. 💕

    • @JenniferMaker
      @JenniferMaker  ปีที่แล้ว

      If the Slice button is grayed out, it means that the Slice option is unavailable to use with your current selection. To fix it, make sure that you've selected only two layers, and that each layer is Ungrouped and Visible. Slice will only work when 2 layers are selected. No more or less.

      @JenniferMaker  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We designed and made them on our 3D printer. We plan to share the print files on our blog at some point for anyone else who wants them. There are two styles -- the one on the left uses PVC pipes, so it’s height adjustable to your needs. The one on the right is all 3D printed except for the table, which is a piece of wood screwed to the legs. Both meet the requirements in Cricut’s Safety Instructions for “a flat and stable surface” as the Cricuts are just sitting on stable tables.

    Thank you for doing this tutorial! I am out of practice, I have not been able to work on my Cricut for a while, so this really helps!

    Hi Jennifer,
    Thank you for this tutorial! You are amazing. Out of curiosity, have you tried using a 5" acrylic round disc for the night light base that you have? Just wondering if it would still stand. Thank you!

      @@JenniferMaker Thank you. For the past week, I've been using your engraving fill in svg and it was work great! All of a sudden, it's no longer engraving properly as the lines are so spaced out. Did something change with design space? Not sure what's going on but my engraving projects aren't coming out nicely anymore. Any help would be fabulous! Thanks again!
