What I don't like about the MT10 lineup is that none of the trims, even the SP, gets the same power numbers as its Super Sports siblings. For example the BMW M1000 is a 210 hp Super Naked, same with Ducati Street Fighter, same with Aprilia Tuono Factory. During my discussions with some riders here, the general agreement was if you want a Super Naked, get a Euro Super Naked
Nobody needs 200hp on the road. What yamaha did with the mt-10 engine is took some of that eccessive top end power and spread it all over the range. Having owned both aprilias v4 and the last gen mt10 among others, id say the mt10 is by far the best streetbike ive ever ridden. Reliability, sevicability and even build quality is superior to euros. Changing my Italian in for new mt10 in a couple of weeks and couldnt be happier
@BlackFlag714 from what I understand, the current MT10 has the 2015 Yamaha R1 CP4 engine albeit tuned for more torque lower down the rev range by implementing a heavier flywheel compared to the R1
@@AdventuresThings I have done interviews on Canadians who have done a world tour on a motorcycle. You can be the next big thing on two wheels. Adventuring around the world on a bike.
Great review and I own an Mt-10 SP ! Love the bike especially after a flash tune and Akrapovic 3/4 exhaust and touring puig windscreen !! You wouldn't believe the sound and smooth throttle now!
Once again, I can’t thank you enough for creating and sharing this wonderful and informative video with us. The MT-10 SP is an amazing motorcycle, so is the R1 👍🏻👍🏻 Thank you and be well my friend :)
Right now, I’m on an Aprilia RS660 and I must say, I love the bike besides missing a bit of power in the low range and I was looking for an upgrade for the next coming years; and I was hesitant at first, between the Aprilia Tuono 1100 and the MT10, but your quick yet detailed, well reasoned and thorough review made it clear that I’ll hop on the Japanese back 😅 🎌🏍️
Thank you for your feedback. Aprilia is a great brand making great bikes. But living in the US, I have a preference for Jap brands simply because of the ease of availability of parts and service departments compared to any other manufacturer.
@@KrishnenduKes I have one question , why in your dashboard the red colour ones is up to 15 in red but I have see this on my friend’s bike is only up to 13 in red only ? Why ?

Seems like a fair argument. Haven't ridden any of the bikes you mention.

@@deputysoandso6105 That's an interesting take!
Those other bikes are also more expensive and less reliable. I'll stick with Yamaha....

One of the most professional reviews I’ve seen in a while
Thanks mate!
I like my bikes like I like my women, way out of my price range and me not knowing how to ride them. Great vid on this again buddy.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Too funny.
But I see that in your travels around the world, you have started riding motorcycles. So cool 😎😎🤙🏽🤙🏽

I have always admired YAMAHA bikes.
Now this machine is gonna be my next Target.
YAMAHA MT 10 SP is the best hypernaked superbike

Sir, as you mentioned can you make a video comparing the duke 1290 and mt 10 sp ? Btw im from india and like your content 😊
Thank you so much. Yes, I am planning to make that content pretty soon.
Stay tuned to the channel.
Btw, I am planning to visit India soon.
Excellent "quick review" of this bike. Also like the cautions. Good Job!
Thanks a lot mate. 🙌🏽
Great video, very informative. ❤
Thank you!
Everything is great about this bike... Except, at 200kmph, it needs some kind of wind protection. What is your take?
Puig touring screen at high speeds is excellent now.
