I understand completely! Do what you need to do. Sorry about you losing your job, but I hope going back to school works well for you. Hopefully, you'll still hang around in the normal comments 😃
@RNGGamerYT oh yeah I'll still watch your videos on Saturday and comment and try and catch some streams. Tbh I'm extremely stressed and exhausted, but I know I can't give up.
Crime boss Rockay City isn't online only. It has a quick game multiplayer mode but you can just fill it up with bots. It's basically the same missions from the campaign but you can play select which one you want to play. So at least you don't got to return it.
Awesome vid as usual, I love seeing the pickups! I owned a few of those myself. I'm hoping to get a Modded Saturn one day so I can play Saturn games cuz I can't afford to buy physical for that console.
Glad you shouted out Mark from The Electric Underground. Been watching that guy for a while and he’s great. I ordered DDP Daioujou from playasia 2 months ago and apparently they didn’t list that they didn’t have any in stock so I’ve still not gotten it :(
Been loving your pick up videos and how diverse the game genres are as well, it's nice seeing other games i haven't heard about and adding them to my backlog as well! Also, since i just picked it up myself too, in the case for The Medium PS5 (ESRB version, non PAL), VGP (Video Games Plus) a Canadian retailer has them on sale, a lot of times when games go out of print, specially the rarer ones or LRG games (restock, reprint etc) VGP carries them! They often (ever few months) reprint or restock on sought after titles, some being the likes of Blue Reflection on PS4, P3P/4G on PS4/Switch, Grandia Collection etc to name a few!
I'm glad you're enjoying the videos and are finding some things to grab yourself. I love VGP and buy stuff from them regularly. But I've also gotten unlucky a few times and ordered the game before they announced the reprint. I bought the medium from playasia when I pre-ordered some other game... which took like a year to come out. So it didn't ship until it was too late
I literally just picked up Evil West yesterday, had it pre-ordered, then canceled it sold out since then, and never saw it physically until yesterday had to grab it!!
I just want to say that when you do finally sit down to play your first bullet heaven game (which really should be vampire survivors) be prepared for your next gaming addiction. I'm not sure about Brotatoe but there are usually meta-upgrades in these games.
When you pointed out all that legal jargon on the back of the case, it made me miss manuals even more because that’s where all that stuff used to be printed! I miss the back of games having cool artwork and screenshots fill it out.
Holiday golf is hilarious but not enough content. Bit outlaw golf is legit my favorite of all the golf games and Mario golf is an extremely close second. Golf games can be really fun when done right. And humour in the golf games is a must for me.
Evil West was attempting to be so many things but never became anything. Bland and blah. However the worst part, for me, it was too red in most of the time.
@RNGGamerYT well it's not a bad game and I am jaded since I paid full price on release too! But I found that it's the kinda game that your object isn't to beat the boss at the end but to complete simple quests to gain skill to beat the boss. Very beautiful but, in my opinion, got tired quickly with it.
I couldn't get on with that game at all either. One I did love which has a similar theme but different execution was Weird West. Sort of an isometric shooter with rpg elements. Great fun!
I mean to give Cygni another go but the brief time I spent with it was not promising. I picked up a copy of Dodonpachi DaiouJou from M2 shotriggers when I was in Japan last. Only played it briefly so far and it was fantastic. Really want to find some time to give it a proper go. Last shooter I put lots of time into was Ikaruga on GC.
Ikaruga is one of my favorites! I have a custom arcade cabinet that is ikaruga themed! Dodonpachi Daioujou is going to out Cygni to shame. I don't think anyone ever thought it would be great. But, I've had several newcomers to shmups tell me that Cygni convinced them to try out the genre. It's a game designed to get casuals into the genre. And I think it's doing that. So, I have to support it for that reason!
Evil West is great, picked it up at launch. It's much more of a beat em up with some shooting on the side, not quite what I expected but loved my time with it regardless. Only wish I could reliably get my buddy online to play it in coop.
Hey RNG, I really enjoy the channel! I'm kind of new to it so I don't know if you've ever explained before, but what method do you use to select your games at random? Is it some kind of online randomizer, like a Google thing or a some kind of method you came up with yourself or something totally different lol? Just curious.😁👍
Thank you so much! It's actually a big algorithm I created to help me choose. It's too complicated to explain here, but you'll sometimes get to see me pick a game during a live stream or at the beginning of a game review. One of my very first videos was a boring video where I explained the whole thing. If you go waaaaay back on my channel, you'll find it
I really liked the Medium...its not amazing but it just felt like an old school mid tier game to me and it scratched an itch. I think you should also look into Buddy Simulator 1984. It's a hidden gem pixel art horror that I just played recently when it got a limited physical release and it was very unique.
It's easy to manage your backlog when you fall to the digital monster that is STEAM, but what do you do with all your physicals? Do you mix your played and unplayed to keep games for the same system together, or do you keep all unplayed games in one place so you can keep track of them?
The backlog is like 1300 games.... They are all mixed in. But I have a meticulous spreadsheet of them all. There is a whole algorithm about how they are picked. Sometimes I do it live during a stream, sometimes I'll show myself picking the game before a review
Oh you know I love commenting your vids, I really wanna support your channel. Not much I can add to what's been said, on point. I would advise though, for the horror season, have you played "Blair witch". That game was way better than it needed to be.
Thank you so much for your support! I haven't played Blair Witch... but I was interested in it. There was something about it that made me remove it from my wishlist, but I can't remember what it was
@@RNGGamerYT it was surprisingly fantastic. If you do play it, ignore everything the witch is leaving you, only answer the phone, keep the torch off. And have fun walking in constant circles haha. I gotta play this again now and just do everything the witch wanted haha

Nice Pickups. I bought Killing Time for 3DO on its launch day. Good game. Not great, but good. I also liked PO'd for 3DO. I consider those "Rose Colored Glasses" games, where what you remember is better than actual gameplay. FPS's on consoles in the early 90's didn't have the standardized controls that we're used to now, so moving and shooting were a bit awkward. But still, great memories. Never heard about a lot of these games . Nice one ! Although I don’t believe ps5 games will be worth much in 20 years as the majority of games are not on the disc
@@RNGGamerYT you're right there , you never do know but 360 games by majority had the data on the actual disc and it would install that information to the hd but with new games are not on the disc and require you to download the from the server. So if these servers are off in the future , these games are useless . Yes people will probably have installation and update files to download online but for the common person who doesn't want to go through that process , it won't be .
Curse of the dead gods is fun all the way up until the final board. I was absolutely playing out of my mind until i unlocked all the levels until the last one. Seemed next to impossible to beat the highest difficulty final run without permanent "base" upgrades which i barely had any 🤣. Still a good time, i got it because Dead Cells had a cross over with it.
Im not sure if you have it or not. A horror game called Among the sleep. I have it but havent gotten around playing it. Heard good stuff about it though!
Brotato! Lol, yeah, it's fun for a while 😂. White day was a bit... um.. well, it had lots of unlocks. BTW, your videos seem to be more dynamic recently. Nice.
Thanks for saying the videos have been more dynamic. I think having a couple of editors to jump in and help me out here and there has done a lot to take away some of the stress. It also gives me time to get better at editing myself rather thank just going as fast as possible
I couldn’t beat a single Prince Of Persia I was confused of what to do when I was a child the first Prince Of Persia is when I was 14 or 13 years old on my old Android NES
Man, online only games are the worst. I myself got Anthem for cheap a while back, because I really wanted to play the campaign, but then I realized that it was not only online only, but that it requires a PS+ subscription too... to play the single player campaign...
I enjoyed immortals of aveum but I chose the story difficulty due to it having puzzles and stuff. But a few hours in all of a sudden the difficulty spike was insane and it's like it went to ultra hard difficulty and enemies just would not stop spawning. I just couldn't and gave up on the game
@RNGGamerYT me neither until I got there and I looked it up to see if I was doing anything wrong but apparently they just randomly upped the difficulty which makes no sense on story difficulty😂
@RNGGamerYT unfortunately. But usually not as bad as that. Like who ups the difficulty stupidly especially on story difficulty which is just to enjoy the story
Dude you HAVE to play prince of Persa or how ever the hell you spell it my keyboard isn't telling me lol it's def one of the best metroidvanias I've played!!
Hidden Gems hahaha. I finished Evil West recently buddy and i enjoyed it. Its kind of like a souls game only its not , You will see what i mean when you get around to playing it. But i enjoyed it 😁😁😁 Crime boss is terrible dude i sold mine instantly lol. Awesome stuff as always.
I'm glad you enjoyed Evil West!!! It's been the game most talked about in the comments for sure. Crime Boss looks really dumb... and I'm sure it's terrible... I can't wait 🤣

I wish I had a switch to play Tatio Ld game collection, cause I would love to play Space Battle ship Yamato aka Star Blazers, one of my favorite cartoons from the 80's. As a kid in the 80's I got introduced to Star Blazers from a friend, and I had no idea that the show was based off of movies in Japan Called Space Battle Ship Yamato, now I say movies, because I learned a year ago that they were movies in Japan, and when we adapted them in America, we changed the name to Star Blazers and made it into a weekly series cartoon, and I thought the show was made in the 80's, it goes back to the 70's in Japan
That's crazy! I didn't even know it was based off an established series. You may be able to grab a switch really cheaply soon. I think they are about to announce the switch 2
@RNGGamerYT , I hope so, there are a ton of game's to buy on the Switch that I want to play, especially the Zelda game's, I should have picked one up year's ago, but was buying a lot of PS4, and retro game's instead, one of my local Retro game stores has 4 of the Zelda switch oleds, but he's selling them for $400.00 CIB

No offense but when i girst saw you I was feeling like you gave off preacher vibes. I wanted to ask if you were but not be rude. But your dad being a preacher makes sense to me now.
@RNGGamerYT lol well I did start to doubt it more when you started talking about Games with "culture". 😆 Well very funny. I need to watch your live streams lol.
I’m sure there are better places to plug your VHS collection that’s for sale than a TH-cam video about video games. Let alone on TH-cam in general. Just something to think about.
This reminds me of Doom games that i never was able to beat i couldn't Beat Doom 2 on my Nintendo Switch once i first played it when i was 16 in November something 12:20
@RNGGamerYT and the having to act like there are no family disagreements. Cause "the pastor and his wife shouldn't disagree on things" like what they are still human. Having to present yourself in a certain way to others as to not upset the congregation and them vote to look for a new pastor. Loads of fun
RNG Gamer, I am curious about something because you apparently love to collect video games. When the younger generations make up a sufficient portion of gamers that Sony and Microsoft will decide that there is no longer any significant risk for them to release all digital consoles to eliminate physical gaming media once and for all, giving them more control, which will translate into a larger bottom line for them, will you not even bother with playing those new consoles, and just stick to previous generations for your gaming??? Obviously, you could still game on those all digital systems, if they ever become a reality, but there won't be any physical media for you to collect! I'm not a collector myself, although I wish I was . . . for I can recall shopping regularly at various thrift stores, and almost always seeing various games for sale, and now when you happen to come across any games in a thrift store, they are no longer priced as they once were, and yet collectors, and flippers are scooping them up as quickly as possible. I could have had a decent collection by now if I had only got into collecting. I still have games for most of my previous systems going back to the ATARI 2600 VCS, but it is not a large collection, and for some "unknown" reason, I seem to be missing numerous games that I once owned! I've actually been gaming since the days of the Fairchild Channel F system, and I have owned most of the major consoles since then, most of which I acquired on their respective release dates. That was true until the current generation where I became quite upset with the way both Sony, and Microsoft handled all of the issues surrounding their respective release dates, along with the shortages of materials preventing them from even coming close to meeting demand, in addition to the problems with scalpers grabbing most of the systems that would be available for sale here and there. I tried different tactics to acquire both systems to no avail. I never had the opportunity to purchase either system until around two and a half years after their release dates, but by then I was so frustrated with the whole situation that I had little interest left in giving either of them money to be able to game on the latest consoles!!! Then, when I factored in that I would be paying full price for both consoles, although they were both 2.5 years old at that point, I felt as if I would be allowing them to rip me off by making me pay full price for the consoles that were already half dead, being that their lifetimes were pretty much already half over. I simply could not justify purchasing either system. I won't mention here the major issues I had dealing with Microsoft regarding their defective 360s, and then some of the crap they pulled on me surround that whole debacle! My experience was so terrible that I felt as if they were blatantly giving me a big FU right in my face! I almost shun acquiring their next gen console, the XBOX One, but then I broke down and picked up the XBOX One X upon its release. Regardless, they are about ready to kill off this home console gamer altogether! I am completely opposed to all digital systems, so if they actually decide to go that route for their next generation of consoles, my days of being a home console gamer will have come to their conclusions, and the will have successfully killed this gamer off . . . in regards to home console gaming. If anyone bothering to read this, and making it this far (yeah, as if anybody reads much of anything anymore), and you don't know why some people are so opposed to having all digital consoles, then if you love gaming, you have some homework to do then!!! I had a good run though . . . from around the first generation to second generation of consoles (for the generations do overlap), to the ninth generation. Fortunately, I have also been a PC gamer to a slight degree. However, consoles were my main form of gaming because the large majority of my friends were console gamers, so when in Rome. So, the big, mega-corporations will have essentially murdered this home console gamer, but I shall be resurrected, and be assimilated into the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race, and my gaming experience shall live on . . . hmmm, perhaps the time has arrived for me to become efficient at using Linux.
Thanks for your wonderful comment! I really enjoyed reading it. It's amazing you started with the Fairchild... that's a serious gaming history 🤣 This is something I think about a lot. I assume when the all digital day comes, I'll just keep collecting old stuff... and I'll play all my new games on PC. I don't really see the purpose of an all digital console

Yes people will probably have installation and update files to download online but for the common person who doesn't want to go through that process , it won't be .
@mystical23 check out doesitplay dot org. They check almost everything that comes out. 85% of games are playable from disc with no updates or patches
Awesome collection ❤
Thanks! I've been working on it for a long time 😄
Curse of the dead gods is fun all the way up until the final board. I was absolutely playing out of my mind until i unlocked all the levels until the last one.
Seemed next to impossible to beat the highest difficulty final run without permanent "base" upgrades which i barely had any 🤣. Still a good time, i got it because Dead Cells had a cross over with it.
Very cool! I didn't know there was a crossover with dead cells
Get Grime! Super awesome Metroid type game! Limited to 1000 physical copies on ps5.
It's on my wishlist! So many people have recommended it
Im not sure if you have it or not. A horror game called Among the sleep. I have it but havent gotten around playing it. Heard good stuff about it though!
I added it to my wish list the other day. I haven't grabbed it yet, though
Cool games you showed. I like the ones with the women on the cover you showed. Most of them fully clothed which is cool also.
Lol.... women on the cover is a perfect marketing strategy
I couldn’t beat a single Prince Of Persia I was confused of what to do when I was a child the first Prince Of Persia is when I was 14 or 13 years old on my old Android NES
The original Prince of Persia is one of the hardest games I've ever played. I need to give it another shot
@@RNGGamerYT I should give it another shot too
Man, online only games are the worst. I myself got Anthem for cheap a while back, because I really wanted to play the campaign, but then I realized that it was not only online only, but that it requires a PS+ subscription too... to play the single player campaign...
Yeah that's a main problem with Modern gaming. Only online.
Those barely count as games in my book....
I hate it so much
What was the space game called that was like Dragons Lair? Space Ace? 🤔
Yup, space ace!
You won't be disappointed in Prince of Persia...such a great game!
I'm super excited for it!
I also buy shmups sight unseen from Playasia! That's hilarious! lol
I'm glad I'm not alone 🤣
Could you please cover a game I loved and played to death even though I could only play offline: original xbox, Phantom Dust.
I actually don't have it!!! But if I get a copy, I'll put it in the backlog
Interesting! I had no idea that it had any challenge at all
@RNGGamerYT me neither until I got there and I looked it up to see if I was doing anything wrong but apparently they just randomly upped the difficulty which makes no sense on story difficulty😂
@hybrid_Batman bad game design and EA... tale as old as time
@RNGGamerYT unfortunately. But usually not as bad as that. Like who ups the difficulty stupidly especially on story difficulty which is just to enjoy the story
you said basinger right i can't believe she's 70 years old Born in December 8th 1953
Really!?!? She still looks good
Ultros looks really fun
Doesn't it!?! What a crazy art style
Great video so far
Thanks, brother! How did the rest of the video hold up?
@@RNGGamerYT really well
Dude you HAVE to play prince of Persa or how ever the hell you spell it my keyboard isn't telling me lol it's def one of the best metroidvanias I've played!!
I want to! But all of my games get picked randomly. So, I don't get to choose even if I want to 🫠
ive heard of brotato but it looks fun since i like vampire survivors
It's supposed to be a dumb version of vampire survivors!
@@RNGGamerYT oh ok

Thanks! Love you too
Ok cool cause i love watching your videos being 42 playing games still I can relate to a lot of things u say n play
Thanks so much! Come hang out tonight
You make me want to try out some bullet hell games. But I'm awful lol.
They are difficult! At least a lot of the modern ones have great training modes. So, you can build up over time
Those sega Saturn games reminds of Sega CD games one of them looks like a cartoon and one of them looks like in real life 2:55
Yeah! There are several of them like that on the Sega CD
Hidden Gems hahaha. I finished Evil West recently buddy and i enjoyed it. Its kind of like a souls game only its not , You will see what i mean when you get around to playing it. But i enjoyed it 😁😁😁
Crime boss is terrible dude i sold mine instantly lol. Awesome stuff as always.
I'm glad you enjoyed Evil West!!! It's been the game most talked about in the comments for sure. Crime Boss looks really dumb... and I'm sure it's terrible... I can't wait 🤣
@@RNGGamerYT Yeah Evil West is not bad buddy. Crime Boss is awful your going to love it dude 😆😆😆
@davpreec lol! I can't wait

That sound from Siri reminds me of my voice sounding like it from Obs Studio is even louder than i thought i let my mic be on Default because i can't use other mics to choose 14:58
I could complain about OBS for hours.... 😅
@@RNGGamerYT I understand why
the same devs that made crime city are the devs that made payday.
Uh oh.... didn't they totally screw up Payday 3?

Everyone is bad at it! It's stupid hard

You totally need to buy squirrel with a gun for ps5 comes out 10/15. Google gameplay videos
You think I didn't know about squirrel with a gun!?! Who do you think I am!?! 🤣
Well you do play your games randomly like a nerd…
@jarrettriley5967 but I buy them purposefully!!! 🤣
Only gsmes i see getting expensive are switch physical games rare and hidden gems
Everyone said the same thing about the PS3 and Xbox 360. You'd be surprised.
@EvilMyers ugh... $400!?! No way. Just get a regular one for like $120
Excellent analysis, thanks! 👌 I’ve got a question: 🤨 I found these words 😅. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). Not sure how to use them, would appreciate help. 🙏
Huh?
i see couple online games only.i see diablo 4 for online.i did wanna get it.i didn't get it.i picked up 4 ps5 games.ready for winter
I want to play Diablo IV so badly. But the online requirements are a big NO for me.
@@RNGGamerYT yeah.they ruined it for me.can they do both ways.
@RNGGamerYT yeah can they have both ways online and offline.i pretty sure the game will be a hit
the medium game was great

@RNGGamerYT to me, it's scary 😆

A hidden gem this month is my wallet 😅 i took 2 months off from purchasing 😀
Haha! You make better decisions than me 🤣
My word you have bought some questionable games here! To each their own I guess. Immortals of Aveum is perfectly playable though.
Ohhhh. I make terrible decisions! I think it's why people watch. Similar to a car wreck 🤣
Too much money to be spending. 😂😂😂
What else can you do with money other than spend it!?! 🤣
Pickups🎉🎉🎉
I love making pickups videos!
So many games!
... too many 🤣
@@RNGGamerYT I know that problem yoo

No offense but when i girst saw you I was feeling like you gave off preacher vibes. I wanted to ask if you were but not be rude. But your dad being a preacher makes sense to me now.
I'm not a preacher at all! That's very apparent on my live streams 🤣
@RNGGamerYT lol well I did start to doubt it more when you started talking about Games with "culture". 😆
Well very funny. I need to watch your live streams lol.
Another random comment i wonder if anyone would like a look through mine and my wifes VHS collection. We even have a vcr and crt tv that work. Lol
They might! VHS collecting is super popular right now
I’m sure there are better places to plug your VHS collection that’s for sale than a TH-cam video about video games.
Let alone on TH-cam in general.
Just something to think about.
I remember watching sanford, and son on vhs when I was a kid good times.
This reminds of that game from the previous video a few weeks ago 5:42
Which game!?!
@@RNGGamerYT the binding of isaac
@naasj3226 ugh.... that game betrayed me 🤣
27:45 that holofoil is awesome. I have to replace the one I had for infamous second son.
It really does look amazing!
This reminds me of Doom games that i never was able to beat i couldn't Beat Doom 2 on my Nintendo Switch once i first played it when i was 16 in November something 12:20
Doom 2 is super hard. Way harder than the first one.

@naasj3226 it definitely is!
13:40 fellow preachers kid here. We have our own brand of trauma lol. At least I know my parents were strict about what we could watch or play
Brother, you're not joking... 🤣
@RNGGamerYT and the having to act like there are no family disagreements. Cause "the pastor and his wife shouldn't disagree on things" like what they are still human. Having to present yourself in a certain way to others as to not upset the congregation and them vote to look for a new pastor. Loads of fun
@Calibidious I know.... it was a literal nightmare. Whenever I got in trouble at school...... 🫠
It's amazing you started with the Fairchild... that's a serious gaming history 🤣
This is something I think about a lot. I assume when the all digital day comes, I'll just keep collecting old stuff... and I'll play all my new games on PC.
I don't really see the purpose of an all digital console
