Nah, X7 is worse than X6 stop tripping. At least there are stages in X6 which are playable.
Dr Light: Yes, I wil create all these armor upgrades for X and not install them on him now. Oh, and I'll design them to only work after X completes an adventure then they'll become worthless. But, I'll create the same damn armor and have it do the same thing Except it will be in a hidden location he can't find until he needs them exactly when the next adventure begins. Now let's see, he will probably on have 8 adventures. But just in case there's a 9th I'll make sure it's behind a paywall.

The X2 armor looks the best to me. I think it also has the best charged shot upgrade.
ASolitaryHuman I used to think the X3 charge shot upgrade was best, but as I got older, I realized it is a pain when you fight Sigma and now I almost wish I could avoid it. X2 shot is really good, but it’s hard to compete against X4’s shot IMO

jruler93 Plasma shot. I’ve never had much use for the stock shot.
The Plasma Shot (as everyone who's played or watched X4 knows) absolutely destroys normal enemies and mini-bosses. But the Stock Shot is better for the Mavericks, as you can keep pelting them with fully charged shots as soon as they become vulnerable again after the previous one.
I personally like using the Plasma Shot for most of the game, then changing to the Stock shot for the final level.
Man, all the memories that I have with these games. I have the MegaMan and MegaMan X collections and haven't even touched them. That's gonna have to change.
Shadow is my favorite. Very fun to do a full playthrough with just it.
Shadow armor equipped with ultimate buster, speedster, dasher, jumper, and whatever 5th chip you want to use. It's what I always think of when thinking about X6.

Did you know, when use blade armor. When u release charged shoot with pressing up, its not shoot x buster but slash with charged X saber instead. With crossing slash on the front of X

@@Bahumet22 when you use the blade armor in x6, you can charge the saber instead of your x buster. By pressing up and attack while your buster is charged, you can unleash this powerful attack!
The glide armor, Second, and especially the Falcon were all my personal favorites design-wise. Ultimate armor from x4-x6 is the most fun to play as though imo.

I will prolly get some form of negativity but... I find the X3 the most wonderfully designed Armor. Ultimate is awesome, don't get me wrong. But 3rd Armor is the most aesthetically pleasing throughout all the MMX Series.
I feel it also helps it might be the armor with the most intricate upgrade system as well, at least in comparison to the rest of the series: Each part has a separate upgrade you can get for it, but you either choose ONE upgrade and that's that, or you are patient enough to skip the singular upgrades and get ALL of them later down the line.

Now that Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2 are out, you’re going to have to add the Ultimate Armor from X Challenge mode.
It’s literally just the Fourth Armor from X5. No Nova Strike, nerfed Plasma Shot, and extra weapon uses

Not many people know, because gaming magazines back then spread false information, it actually IS possible to get Ultimate Armors for BOTH X and Zero in X5. I have a Tips & Tricks issue that covers X5 and they say you can only get the armor for one of them.

X8 made it really fun to search for the armors and upgrades, each of the games had their trick to it.

Ultimate armor from X8 is my absolute favorite, second place goes to shadow armor, and third goes to fourth armor.

Probably the "perfect" armor would be the head and chest parts of the ultimate armor, the arm parts from X2 and the leg parts from X3.
