If you take the archie comics as cannon,then they imply heavily that quint aka future megaman is rebuilt into zero and current time line megaman into x.

Zx is Zero 5 in a way cause it's still the same series just with new characters and in the future 200 years laters. Zero in a way in Zero 4 kinda went back to sleep.
Well they left the ending open more or less we don't know if he died there or was just heavily damaged(he's gone through worse, i mean he self destructed , tankt a falling space colony was blasted to pieces and somehow always came back, all we have seen was a cracked head piece in my book he just hides for another repair session

Zero knew that there was no way out in Zero 4 when he was fighting Weil on Ragnerok but he stood on the falling space station easily defeated Weil but he knew it was gonna cost him his life once more. From this point on both Zero and X was dead for 200 years then Zx series takes place(Which is pretty much Zero 5 and Zero 6). But two years after their deaths Peace was finally realized and Dr.Light and X's dream happened when Ciel and the resistance soldiers disbanded and lives in Area Zero with Neige and the other humans and reploids while still relying on the ruins of neo arcadia. This became bad because the ruins over time merged with Ragnerok that's why in Zx Area M is actually Neo arcadia but fused with Ragnerok.

Übrigens wurde am Ende von Mega Man The Power Fighters 2 ein Fehler im Design von Zero gemacht, da er seine quadratischen Schulterpolster erst im zweiten Teil der X-Serie erhielt, nicht jedoch in der Originalzeichnung von Doktor Wily
これだけ技があったら、スマブラでもアシストフィギュアじゃなくて、ファイターで出せそう

I'm going to tell a story from a long time ago (and there's a lot to come)
A long time ago when I first saw a MegaMan game specifying the Zero series I looked at it and thought "wow this game is so cool and "she" (yeah, I thought Zero was a woman) is so cool too" and here comes the first one I played Zero 4 (I love this game and it's my first MM game too) then I heard his voice and thought (like the dumb kid I was) "it's weird her voice, she just must have been a very deep voice" and then a long time later when I found out that Zero is a man I said "hahaha ok hahaha"
And since when I first played Zero 4 until today Zero is my favorite character and that was the story lol
(Oh and another thing was when I first saw his X series design and saw his booblights I thought (and even when I thought he was a woman) "Strange but ok")
やっぱ4〜6が好き。7からのはコレジャナイ感があったけど、意外と派生作品にポリゴンでもかっこいいゼロがいてびっくりした
スマブラにゼロ参戦したなかったのは残念だった…アシスト行きは許さん…😡👍（次回のスマブラに参戦希望…‼️）
I wish capcom make new shooting star rockman with new protagonist but EM being motif after 12 chinesse zodiac like :
* Zero , main protagonist ( horse )
* harpuia ( rooster )
* fefnir ( tiger )
* leviathan ( rabbit )
* phantom ( dragon )
* meddy ( sheep )
And rival character like burai but his EM being partner is robot like acid and he after axl .

インティのゲームだからっていうのもだけど初見殺しが結構多い気がする
ゲーム性がゼクスとかガンヴォルトみたいな2Dアクションに引き継がれているてる感じがいい

7,8とか3D仕様になってからはずっと出しっぱなしってのがなんか嫌だ。なんかもっさり感を感じる。

I forgot how embarrassingly bad X7 was. You can see it in even seconds of battle animation footage. The Zero and ZX series practically saved the franchise during that time…

ボンボンでやってた漫画のヘルメット外したゼロが好き
なんか頻繁にヘルメット外れてた気がするけどゲームじゃ外した姿はないんかね
普段はヘルメット取れててナヨナヨしてるけど、覚醒するとヘルメット出てきていつものクールなゼロになるやつね、俺も持ってたなぁ
