- As society seems to be moving further away from what the Christmas celebration is all about, here is a musical reminder. It's about the birth of Jesus Christ..Amidst the Holly Jolly's and Jingling Bells " the message here is clear and speaks of "Peace and love and hope"for any time of year.
Amen ~ YES ~ Peace _ Love on and other right now ~ thank ya'
"Love is but a song we sing," right on dear lady, thanks from the old troubadour.
Very beautiful way to greet the day ~ Cheers to the art of keeping love in my heart ~
Welcome to yet another day and thanks for keeping lov in your heart
I summarize in just one word what I just heard and what awakens in me: Wonderful!
Thank you Pablo. Yes a song about the "Prince of Peace" is wonderful any time of the year I have others,.Here's another I think you will enjoy. th-cam.com/video/0ZZwVuV51D0/w-d-xo.html
Your simple, sweet, and serious message should have broad appeal to devout Christians everywhere. Thanks and Merry Christmas!
That it also appeals to a charter member of the church of the divine matching snow flakes brings great joy to an apostate like The Old Troubadour.
A well made point by a well rounded singer/song writer! The commercialism of Christmas very often overshadows the true needs of humankind as taught by Jesus and many others. Well done John!
Thanks Jim, hopefully it will strike a positive chord as it circles through the internet of time. JRW
Thank you, John, for the simple, powerful statement expressed so artistically
Thank you Bob. Words, music and a message folded into a beautiful video do have meaning. I'm sure Ed and Geri will enjoy it Perhaps your neighbors might enjoy it. After all Jesus was a Rabbi. John Winn, the Old Troubadour.
Yes and Amen to that! Wonderful, John. Merry Christmas to you both! X
Thank you Darrell,, your comments always show the connection the songs are looking for. .M y next song is for the new year. It will be ready in a couple of weeks. It is a result of a wonderful all night scramble for proper words and melody. We start studio work this week.. "Happy Holy Days" to the Babidge bunch JRW
Ed and Geri loved it, too😊
thanks to you for getting it to them.♥
Very thought provoking. Seems we’ve lost the meaning of Christmas much to the delight of retailers, corporations, China and the GNP.
Thank you Ken, your comment shows a clear understanding of the overall meaning of the video. My gratitude to you for your kind words. JRW
