  • I wrote this song in 2002 for my first album produced in the Shedd Studio. So 20 years later it occurred to me that this might be a good song for the 21st century and the troubled times we are facing on a daily basis. The lyrics are meant to be uplifting, informative and inspirational.

Thank you Darrell, your "words" of encouragement are a blessing to this "Old Troubadour." The old "Voice" that carry's the message thanks you too. A daily dose of vocalise' from diaphragm to the upper chambers of placement keeps the train on the tracks.

Very nice song about songs - their power and beauty. And about how you can be moved, and your understanding improved, if you really listen to what the singer is saying. The importance of active listening is unfortunately lacking in much of today’s popular music and discourse.

Well Mr. Lehmann, your comment contained crisp "Words" clearly stating the purpose of the video. In your "Words" I hear that "Listening" was what led you to reach with this very cogent comment, Thank you kind Sir. for your "Words>"

Another admirable song where the weight of the words deeply touches the heart and the soul. The poetry marries the music remarkably under your fingers, congratulations John, and thank you for the harmony of these precious moments. Friendly from France

Great song John..... It seems that today as in the past it takes more than words to kill a monster. It will and must be done as quickly as humanly possible.
Some words I recently heard from a 103 year old that is the last surviving prosecutor at Nuremberg. Never Give Up..... Never Give Up...Never Give Up.
These Monsters Must All Pay Dearly.
    Happy 88th.

Thank you Mr. "K" for "listening" to the message in the song. I too heard the Nuremburg survivor say the 'WORDS," "Never give up, never give up, never give up!" JRW "The Old Troubadour"
