    Please don’t do this, the jurors may wish to see it. Look back at murdaugh case, the jurors received a great deal of information in that particular case. After the case, make it into a beautiful park

    I'd say if the victims' family members are opposed to the demolition of the house due to not wanting crucial evidence to be destroyed, especially since Kohberger hasn't even gone on trial...at least grant their wishes.
    There's still so many unanswered questions in this bizarre case.

      Do the RIGHT THING UNIV. of Idaho!! LEAVE THE HOUSE ALONE UNTIL JUSTICE IS SERVED. THE university is only wanting a rush on it, so other school attendance won't drop & they ( the university) lose out money. Good God, have more respect for these beautiful souls who were taken far too soon. Leave all possible evidence right where it is until the trial is over, and justice is served. We love you, Kaylee, Megan, Xana & Ethan! Forever in our hearts😢💔

    Why are they so Hell bent on the destruction of this house before trial. I understand it’s a difficult and tragic reminder of the events that took place that dreadful night but people are gonna remember even when the house is gone. So what’s the hurry??

    • @bewell6019

      They are afraid of the visual evidence of who is able to see the house from afar. Line of sight had been made by selective clearing of trees and such. That seems to be their motivation.
      Remember they weren't going to do this, but they know the holiday stress makes a injunction less likely to be pursued.

    Please do not demolish this house at this time. 🙏 As far as a "reminder " is concerned, the memory will remain as a park bench in place of the house and the space will leave negative thoughts forever regarding the University.

    The students are 18 and up, adults, who are capable of waiting until after the trial for the house to come down. Respect is shown for the victims by not rushing the demolition as a jury might want to walk the home to gain perspective.

    Strange how my comment was erased because I voiced my opinion and said LEAVE THE HOUSE ALONE UNTIL JUSTICE IS SERVED! What is it University of Idaho afraid of ? You worried about poor attendance? Losing money? These were 4 percious lives, that were taken way too soon.
    Show a little ounce of respect & class, and leave the house alone until the trial is over. WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU. Kaylee, Maddie, Xana & Ethan!! MANY PRAYERS GOING OUT TO THE FAMILIES !!

    So i should just demolish anything that i see that causes a bad memory or that "triggers" me?!?!! Demolishing the house doesnt make the bad thing that happened just go away. Teach or counsel your students along with yourselves positive ways to work through things emotionaly. Not everything in life that bothers us can just be destroyed. I also believe that the university doesnt like the negative publicity.

    • @petroonajourney3503
      @petroonajourney3503 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Agreed 🎯. I wonder how the University is going to face the negative publicity that is coming their way because they disregarded not only the parents' wishes to keep the house until after the trial has come to a conclusion but also because they chose to deliberately destroy evidence.

  • @bewell6019
    @bewell6019 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

    It's not emotions. It's our justice system.
    Destruction of evidence is a crime. It is in the category of Obstruction of Justice.
    The level of sealed information in this case, the lack of transparency and the number and severity of direct lies by Moscow PD after insisting that the public only refer to them as the official source and ignore rumors. Ignore the fact they claimed the untouched roommates were on the first floor sleeping from 1am to noon. Ignore the fact they claimed it was targeted and then switch to a claim that it was "obviously" this stranger serial killer who targeted random victims (occurs < 0.5% of homicides) that recently moved there from Pennsylvania.
    More likely than this is the statistical 4% likelihood of law enforcement officer(s) with a motive targeting victims to whom they already made veiled threats on publicly available video. Driving a suspiciously quiet Ford hybrid that looks identical to footage of vehicle making loops and passes by the 1122 house. Officers involved are identical to the ones who muse aloud at Kaylee, "Hmm, no steps leading to the deck to access your bedroom" (a challenge he implies he will overcome) and "let's take this photo a second time" by the other. By itself just blatant intimidation. But in retrospect, criminal threats of some sort that exhibit they have a motive - allegedly.
    Watch it and gauge whether they are putting the screws to Kaylee, with the only justification of going there in response to the 1117 Queen Rd noise complaint (where they do not make weird comments or take photos of anyone's id) is to give her a "heads up" which transforms in 5 seconds to a "final warning" and then the veiled threats.

People can suck up their precious feelings until its done, or 4 kids were murdered and a killer gets free. There has been so much secrecy in this case and now this - there's something more going on here.

    The house may have become a sightseeing destination now. Im not there so I dont know. But I see its boarded up and a fence is around it. Time for it to go. The house was a crazy place where all kinds of people came and went. Wild parties, strangers all over the place. It was something that shouldn't have happened. It was too big to begin with. Too many young people were allowed to live there by themselves with no one responsible for what goes on there. It was every guy/gal doing their own thing! None of these people were related to each other, not a family. Just a bunch of students living together. Coming and going. Moving in and out. Too much crazy going on there. Someone said keep it there because there may be evidence. Evidence was collected. There comes a time when there's no more to be found. Someone else opined why didn't the others who survived hear the screaming or whatever that night? Ask the survivors? Ask the surrounding neighbors. It supposedly happened in the middle of the night when all is quiet. The whole neighborhood heard nothing?!! Or they chose not to. Like I said, from reports I read there was always parties, fights, loudness coming from this house.

    The majority of murder trials, the jurors do not go back to the crime scene.
    They have used the Faro scanner to scan the inside/outside of the house, including scanning the victims and where they were found.
