Absolutely incredible. Didn’t think this’d hold my attention, but as someone who’s been on a lil weathering mood with my bad batch figures, this has doubled my inspiration.
Iirc the Bandai Boba Fett kit has a waterslide decal for the chest logo, so you can use that if you don't want to carefully paint around the one that's already on the figure.
i'm actualy wery impressed with that tamiya weathering kit, i haven't seen something like that anythere there i live, so i bought one from aliexpress and i rub the light sand in he's green armour so hard, that it actually looks now like somehing that you painted, thank you for that little thing, it's soooo dope !!!
Wow! I don't have one but I enjoyed watching this entire video. It looks amazing! And I like the style of your vid, no silly music, just simple and to the point, with reference photos and narration when appropriate. That was pretty nice!
Personally I like how it looks out of the box then I would fix the helmet then to me I will have my perfect fett I just like how he looks more mix matched like he just threw on a bunch of stuff and it's not all stream lined
The wide signature look that you are talking about is actually Present only in the empire strikes back helmet while the ROTJ is much more narrow. But this figure looks amazing!!
Incredible work! I've had mine a few days and am happy with it as is, but you should keep yours under reinforced glass while on display (not in a museum, cuz how would you play with it then?).
It’s so weird, I’ve been checking ROTJ Fett stills and they’re all over the place, some show the bags as both white, some white (or light grey) and khaki, his armor lighter or dark like the figure, even one where the gloves do look greenish, and yet, in the movie shots, your mod looks the closest, I’m def going to repaint mine as well, or at least the armor, gauntlets and jet pack at a minimum
I have tried to see if the sculpt is there but I think that the helmet mold is too tight. Maybe if you removed the head, but it's real tight. I'm working on something cool to fix mando that will be up on YT soon!
I did a simple paint job on my. I just brushed light amounts of black paint all over mine to give him a oiled dirty look. It was simple and effective and it made him look way better. Just curious if you attempted to try and get other hands on yours. I really want to upgrade him to that of a mafex or sh figure status. Really would like to get a toe hinge.
So, just getting started with fixing/ customizing black series. And I was wondering what the difference between Vallejo air and regular Vallejo paints are.
The new boba Fett deluxe figure is the best representation of boba Fett, the first mold should have been gone a long time ago, if all you have to do is heat up the mask he is quite exceptional, I do like your workto make it more movie-accurate but there is nothing wrong with this figure at allexcept for heating up the head which the box pushed in, easy fix,and they are going to be coming out with so many different boba Fett's now, but they will all have the same mold as the deluxe, every accessory in the box is exceptional accept a grappling hook,, I wish you would have done something with that , good job on the customization,I can't wait till they come out with the mandalorian boba Fett cleaned up and dirty figure,
I think he looks okay for a 20 dollar 6 inch figure. If you really hard-core bout ur display then yeah customize away. The only thing I see wrong is the helmet lol it's all squished. But I saw a guy use a heat gun to fix it. Might be a lil easier idk. I kno ima try to use my heat gun to fix em
I guess you like the old mold is that what you're saying at the beginning of your video you didn't really like the deluxe? It's a lot better than the first mold
@Kaminoan Customs, You could probably make ALOT of money if you started an action figure customization business! I would DEFINITELY pay you to customize my Boba figure! I just don't have the time or resources to make mine look that AWESOME!
Hobby lobby! Clear coat is definitely needed to give the powder something to adhere too, also need to clear coat it afterwords so the powder doesn't rub off
never understood why Boba Fett had all those dents in his armor. If you are suppose to be this great bounty hunter you would take care of your stuff. Because if someone hit one of those big dents it would be bad.
I JUST took mine out of the package and was looking for a review to see where all the pieces went, I had no idea it looked so bad until I saw your video 🤦🏾♂️

Glad to have helped!! People asked me to make these tutorials so I'm hoping they're helpful
@@KaminoanCustoms bro keep going your getting big on more and more platforms
Dude this is so comprehensive you’ve done an amazing job!

Just the video I’m looking for!
I wasn’t sure if I had to prime first and such.
Boba looks so awesome with all the new details.
FYI - there is little to no reason to boil the water.. Super hot tap water works all the same.
Masterpiece
Looks awesome, nice work
Personally I like how it looks out of the box then I would fix the helmet then to me I will have my perfect fett I just like how he looks more mix matched like he just threw on a bunch of stuff and it's not all stream lined
I did your idea with the helmet and now my boba looks kick ass dude thanks!
We need you to make more video man
It’s mind boggling how much modifications you needed to do just to get this figure to look legit. Hasbro should have hit this out of the park.
This is INCREDIBLE It's like Figure ASMR haha... Subscribed.
I did not like the fact very much, but I kept seeing him in stores and I ended up getting one. I like this project, awesome work.
The wide signature look that you are talking about is actually Present only in the empire strikes back helmet while the ROTJ is much more narrow. But this figure looks amazing!!
Great job. That is how it should looks straight from the box
Thanks your videos help me a lot
Knee pads are supposed to be stuck to the thigh. he has rockets that come out of them.

Damn! I love it
I would buy a repainted one if you would do this for me
Awsome looking figure with this paintjob
The way you fixed the warped helmet, would that work on a beaker mando as well?
Well yeah ofc just needs more time in the hot water

That’s a good job don’t get me wrong but with the work your putting in you may as well but the Bandai model kit and build that one.
That's not very fun. Then I wouldn't have a hobby
@@KaminoanCustoms you still have to paint it. Like with all this work if you do it to that kit it look amazing
You taking away the ab crunch by gluing the belt
Did you know that there’s a Morrison head sculpt under the helmet.
Looks like an Import figure, Looks Fucking amazing, Might have to try this out on mine once it arrives
Thanks for the tut bro im gonna do the same btw u should take the helmet off and paint the face thats unpainted underneath
Hey guys, can anyone recommend Hasbro hands that would fit the Deluxe Boba like fist hands and open hands? Appreciate the response.
Gitrooper kits has made hands for the BOBF Boba and I have done clone hands but to my knowledge no one has done ROTJ Boba hands
Good job👍😄
Awesome tutorial, helmet looks so much better after the fix! If you don't mind me asking wheres the backdrop from?

You should make 3.75 vintage collection videos as well like the boba repaint on your Instagram story

Excellent, saved until mine arrives :) Thanks!
Hi, I'm a little confused. Do you spray on the tamiya matte finisher after you do the stippling/weathering on the armor and helmet?
So did you have to repaint the jet pack after the clear coat?
What kind of paints do you use aswell man?
Take a shot every time he says “yellow oaker”
You would be wasted
@@KaminoanCustoms “You’ll be dead!”
more videos like this please♥
Good work man, did you seal the paint? I might have skipped over that due to the length of the vid
Yes! I did a couple layers of rust oleum matte clear and then tamiya TS-80 at the end
Kaminoan Customs thank you sir!
Awesome man
So✨ Cool!👍✨
What do you use to seal? Is mod podge good? Or is something else better?

Better then Mafex.

He wore them proudly as battle scars and testament to what he had survived.
No true mandalorian would ever remove the scars of former battles.
