    Hello! I can’t believe your just learning to knit socks. Your heels are beautiful and there are no holes. Excellent job on all of them. I love your choices in colors. If you would like to do this next year, just a suggestion to do all the garments together, all the accessories together and all the hats together. This way those people that maybe don’t hats can skip forward and watch the rest. I know the time stamps are helpful, but this way they wouldn’t have to continue to go to time stamps to move through your beautiful podcast.
    Keep up the excellent work, you are inspiring me to knit more socks.

      Thanks for the feedback for the structure! And for socks, I feel the sweaters I made before helped with the skill of "picking up neatly". I also pick up an extra at the corner, so 17st in total, and I found that to work great, I hope I don't encounter problems later down the line. Hope you get lots of socks done this year!

    I love the format, love the detail that you go into and also appreciate that you hold the garment/accessory close and for long enough to see. Some youtubers just flash it up there and it is too fast. I appreciated the accessories. Didn't know about cuffs!!! Too cute! I think for some of us, it is way more exciting to start things than to finish, even though we really want to finish. Pairs of things become challenging. I started doing hand mitts, etc. two-at-a-time and that is a real difference maker for me. I think it saves time too because it is right there in front of you what you did on one sock or mitt, so no need to really note it down and refer to later. Thanks for your podcast!

      Thank you, I think I should give TAAT another go, for the reasons you've outlined. And thank you for all the lovely feedback, it's amazing to hear it!

    I like this format. Great company as I knit during our winter storm here in Texas

    I liked the format- and I liked seeing all the accessories as well! Even though they may not take as long as sweaters, they still count and were still something you made!

    I am really enjoying your videos, I love the amount of detail you give including the cost. You’re making me want to knit more Petiteknit patterns, your knits look so well finished.
    Just think how good you’ll feel when you’ve finished your cream socks and wrist warmers, it won’t take you long once you get started.

      You are so welcome! Good to know it was a good idea to talk about cost too. PetiteKnit is a staple for a reason, there are so many different patterns, you're sure to find one you like !
      And thank you, I finished the sock (I show it in Episode 3) and I plan to get the wrist warmer done this weekend!

    Just make socks, put them in a box and take one or two or how many you want at a time, randomly, depending on how many feet you want to warm up....they dont have to match...i think!!! Thank you for sharing your precious knits once more! Love from Lisbon 🙂❤

    I think you did great going through all your projects! I really love color work projects - it makes a project fun to make. When I make socks I cast on both cuffs on separate needles and just alternate between the two socks (usually while I’m watching stuff), this is how I’ve always done my socks; by the time I get to the toes decreases then grafting toes, my pair is all done.

    • @thewoollyworker
      @thewoollyworker  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a great idea! I do that with sleeves sometimes, or mitts, but never socks. I think I need to get a new spare pair of needles then aha!

    Another sock you might like similar to the Stone socks are the Peppermint Mocha socks by C.C. Almon - they have the same type of slipped stitches (and kept my interest). GO FINISH YOUR SOCKS!

    I really appreciate you adding the cost. And it was interesting to here your thoughts on the difference yarn types you used. I too have a sensitivity to mohair and am looking for that fluffy non scratchy yarn. 😊
