He also sings in about 14 (Kazakh, Turkish, Usceck, Russian, Ukranian, Serbien, Bulgarian Chinese , Italien, Spamish, French, English, German, Japanese ) languages and speaks 3 so far (Kazakh, Russian and English). Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD. He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside). They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night. Ha, ha......Actually, six years ago when I first heard that Dimash was doing a song called, "SOS," I DID think it was going to be the Abba song! I haven't heard anyone else mention that until now, though.
Dimash is a megastar in China, Kazakhstan (his home), Russia and quickly gaining ground in the Latin American countries and Europe. He is not well known in the USA but has a growing diehard fan base here with the Dimash USA official fan club. His solo concerts regularly sell out with fans flying to whatever country he holds the concert. His current concert tour kicked off in Almaty Kazakhstan on September 23rd 2022 with about 35,000 fans who flew in from 68 countries around the world. The next cities scheduled are Yerevan Armenia in April, Antalya Turkey in May, Kuala Lampoor Malaysia in June with more cities to be announced soon. SOS is a cover of a song from a French rock opera and is considered one of the 4 most difficult French songs. The original song was 3 1/2 octaves but Dimash turned it into a 4 1/2 octave song making it almost impossible for anyone else to sing. His version of SOS has become his calling card. This performance was from his Dimash Digital Show online concert during quarantine in 2021. His Arnau concert tour was interrupted by Covid in 2020 so Dimash arranged for this online concert as a gift for his Dears (Dimash fans). He uploaded almost all songs to a Dimash Digital Show 2021 Playlist on his TH-cam channel. Any song from the concert is superb. Just now I checked the video and paid more attention to the words you said before the funny part at the end. Nothing is accidental, there are no coincidences, I don't believe in coincidences. Since I met Dimash I feel my mother very close to me again. She passed away when I was only 28. Dimash came into my life three years ago at such a hard and desperate time for me, for various reasons, that I had almost lost all hope. It was February 2020 when I was already 49 years old. My mother, whom I miss every day of my life, was a melomaniac, she loved opera, all kinds of quality music and especially good voices, great voices and great vocals. So I know that my mother, from heaven, she also listens to him. I know she is listening to him too because I feel that she's close to me in spirit every time I hear the voice of Dimash singing to my soul. Because yes, he sings straight to the soul.

Old great grandmother who found Dimash 3 years ago. I can't get enough of this once in a lifetime singer! Dimash named his fans Dears, as we are as dear to him as family. Dimash started music training at 5 years old. He plays multiple instruments sings in 15 languages and speaks fluent Kazach and Russian, is learning English and some Mandarin. He is from Kazakhstan. Dimash will be 29 in May. He recently put out a song in Spanish as his Spanish Dears had asked. It is El Amor En Ti. You said with your eyes closed you would have thought there were 2 or 3 singing. Well, you can hear him sing a quartet with himself on this song. Another new song is called "The Story of One Sky" The video is like a mini movie. Dimash wrote the screen play and he took 3 years to write the composition. I would advise to watch both. The movie video first then the live performance. Dimash is passionate about his music. He leaves his heart and soul on stage for all to see....and he Never disappoints! He is a kind, gentle soul, full of love for all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1 (B0) - whistle D8 off the piano). That means he hits notes in almost 8 octaves and sings consistently in 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly😅). At least what he has shown us so far. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He has his own company „DimashAli Creative Center“ and is managed by his father Kanat. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. But he also works very hard to improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview he trains every day at least 3 hours and he swims under water very often to increase his lung capacity. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Yes, describing Dimash as perfect is PERFECT. That's why he has so many followers. It also helps that he's a great human AND he's a hunk to look at AND Dimash has true passion in his performances. I didn't realize until a couple years ago that he would be addicting to me. Yes I'm a Dear. 😍😍 I'm a 60-year-old man infatuated by this perfect human ability to sing perfectly. If you do Ave Maria there is a specific last note to that song that of all the perfect notes he has sung, that one note to me is the most perfect, if that's possible. I found Dimash back in 2017 shortly after his performance of this song in a competion in China launched him into the public eye outside of Khazakhstan. I found him during a low period of my mental health and he helped me through that and every low period since. (I can now determine when I'm heading towards a depression low based on if he features in a dream or not. I'm 100% serious, it's like my subconscious has decided that he's the medecine I need when I'm feeling that way 🤣) At this point I have watched his videos dozen's of times a piece and have watched hundreds of reactions and I am always thrilled to find someone reacting for the first time because it brings back those giddy feelings from when I was first discovering him all over again. I agree that was the best singer I've ever heard(seen). From a technical standpoint was absolutely mind-blowing, I have never witnessed anyone who has mastered every area of their voice. I mean not just octave wise, but like chest voice, mixed voice, falsetto. Mixing between classical and contemporary, using a full range of Dynamics. Like starting off practically in a whisper, and then by the end full belting and then back to a whisper against at the end. Isn't it cool how the song mirrored the lyrical and melodic progress. When he sang from above it correspondent with the high note. There are some layers going on with Dimash I was reading about this guy and I just read that he's six-foot-three also! I think I'm jealous, but mostly appreciative. 🙃😲

This song was written by French Canadian in the 1970's for a Cyberpunk opera called Starmania. Loved the fact that you didn't pause all the time and saved opinions for the end. Dimash has been an international mega star since 2017. His concert in New York in 2019 was sold out so fast. I was even willing to take the risk of crossing the border into the gun/murder country of the world just to see him but alas missed out on a ticket. My friends husband, being a veteran, will have his hospital bills covered. But my friend, his wife, is not included in that help and the gas for long drives back n forth and a place to stay while there, food etc. If they care about the military then that should include the spouse and children in my opinion. It's so fun for us "Dears" (that’s what Dimash calls his fans because he loves us as a dear family) to see how people react to him.
Some info about Dimash. He is born in May 24 1994. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe and onley 2 strings! He also sings in about 14 (Kazakh, Turkish, Usceck, Russian, Ukranian, Serbien, Bulgarian Chinese , Italien, Spamish, French, English, German, Japanese ) languages and speaks 3 so far (Kazakh, Russian and English).
Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD.
He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500.
Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside).
They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night.
Dimash got many new friends from this show and he said at some point he learned a lot from it to.

Gloria Wu's channel has the back-story about the song that is so sad and from a life story about a boy losing his parents in an awful way. If I remember correct he wrote the music to this one when he was 19 years old and lyrics by Oral-kosai Baisengir, who was a poet/lyricist father of a friend of Dimash. Also in this show another contestant "Terry Lin" that was about 51 years young here he considered Dimash a dear friend at this point. But Dimash started telling them al he was his father around episode 9 I think!! That is a big respect and love from his part of the world to call him! Terry was gladly accepting it. They are still that close and also invites each other to there concerts and sometimes singing this song in duet to. They sang it in Jackie Chang movie festival in 2019 and Jackie was choked in how good they were. Terry was known as an alien before Dimash and they have similar vocals to.

Dimash is a megastar in China, Kazakhstan (his home), Russia and quickly gaining ground in the Latin American countries and Europe. He is not well known in the USA but has a growing diehard fan base here with the Dimash USA official fan club. His solo concerts regularly sell out with fans flying to whatever country he holds the concert. His current concert tour kicked off in Almaty Kazakhstan on September 23rd 2022 with about 35,000 fans who flew in from 68 countries around the world. The next cities scheduled are Yerevan Armenia in April, Antalya Turkey in May, Kuala Lampoor Malaysia in June with more cities to be announced soon.
SOS is a cover of a song from a French rock opera and is considered one of the 4 most difficult French songs. The original song was 3 1/2 octaves but Dimash turned it into a 4 1/2 octave song making it almost impossible for anyone else to sing. His version of SOS has become his calling card. This performance was from his Dimash Digital Show online concert during quarantine in 2021. His Arnau concert tour was interrupted by Covid in 2020 so Dimash arranged for this online concert as a gift for his Dears (Dimash fans). He uploaded almost all songs to a Dimash Digital Show 2021 Playlist on his TH-cam channel. Any song from the concert is superb. His opening number was Olimpico which was written for his voice by Igor krutoy for the opening ceremony of the 2nd European Games in 2019. Go down the list as you will enjoy them all.
Dimash has university degrees in both classical and contemporary music, masters in composition, ongoing PhD in musicology, sings in various languages and diff. genre. Just now I checked the video and paid more attention to the words you said before the funny part at the end. Nothing is accidental, there are no coincidences, I don't believe in coincidences. Since I met Dimash I feel my mother very close to me again. She passed away when I was only 28. Dimash came into my life three years ago at such a hard and desperate time for me, for various reasons, that I had almost lost all hope. It was February 2020 when I was already 49 years old. My mother, whom I miss every day of my life, was a melomaniac, she loved opera, all kinds of quality music and especially good voices, great voices and great vocals. So I know that my mother, from heaven, she also listens to him. I know she is listening to him too because I feel that she's close to me in spirit every time I hear the voice of Dimash singing to my soul. Because yes, he sings straight to the soul.

Old great grandmother who found Dimash 3 years ago. I can't get enough of this once in a lifetime singer! Dimash named his fans Dears, as we are as dear to him as family. Dimash started music training at 5 years old. He plays multiple instruments sings in 15 languages and speaks fluent Kazach and Russian, is learning English and some Mandarin. He is from Kazakhstan. Dimash will be 29 in May. He recently put out a song in Spanish as his Spanish Dears had asked. It is El Amor En Ti. You said with your eyes closed you would have thought there were 2 or 3 singing. Well, you can hear him sing a quartet with himself on this song. Another new song is called "The Story of One Sky" The video is like a mini movie. Dimash wrote the screen play and he took 3 years to write the composition. I would advise to watch both. The movie video first then the live performance. Dimash is passionate about his music. He leaves his heart and soul on stage for all to see....and he Never disappoints! He is a kind, gentle soul, full of love for all. Dimash is a 28-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1 (B0) - whistle D8 off the piano). That means he hits notes in almost 8 octaves and sings consistently in 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly😅). At least what he has shown us so far. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!).
He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He has his own company „DimashAli Creative Center“ and is managed by his father Kanat. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how.
Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this.
His concert in September 23, 2022 was in his hometown Almaty, it was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art1, you realize your so wrong.
He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to improve his vocal skills.
He said in an interview he trains every day at least 3 hours and he swims under water very often to increase his lung capacity. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄.

SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione.
SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. He was just 22 years old at the time.

The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship.
If possible, always watch the videos to the end. Very often there are interesting things to learn. Either there’s something to laugh about, or he’s talking to his audience. He always thanks his musicians. He is incredibly humble and never acts like a star. When he is praised, he constantly says that it is thanks to his teachers and his parents, who made it all possible for him. He’s just incredible.

I found Dimash back in 2017 shortly after his performance of this song in a competion in China launched him into the public eye outside of Khazakhstan. I found him during a low period of my mental health and he helped me through that and every low period since. (I can now determine when I'm heading towards a depression low based on if he features in a dream or not. I'm 100% serious, it's like my subconscious has decided that he's the medecine I need when I'm feeling that way 🤣)
At this point I have watched his videos dozen's of times a piece and have watched hundreds of reactions and I am always thrilled to find someone reacting for the first time because it brings back those giddy feelings from when I was first discovering him all over again. I agree that was the best singer I've ever heard(seen). From a technical standpoint was absolutely mind-blowing, I have never witnessed anyone who has mastered every area of their voice. I mean not just octave wise, but like chest voice, mixed voice, falsetto. Mixing between classical and contemporary, using a full range of Dynamics. Like starting off practically in a whisper, and then by the end full belting and then back to a whisper against at the end. Isn't it cool how the song mirrored the lyrical and melodic progress. When he sang from above it correspondent with the high note. There are some layers going on with Dimash I was reading about this guy and I just read that he's six-foot-three also! I think I'm jealous, but mostly appreciative. 🙃😲
