Hello, Thanks for the video. As a fellow compositor, I followed this video with much interest. However there's one step I would included. - The sunlit background that was removed in favor of the water was much brighter. This made the girl brighter as well. After the background replacement she (the girl) seemed too bright for the scene. Seems the highlights should have been toned down and tinted blue somewhat. (but that's just me).
Thank lee as I always say it’s all vey subjective, and my aim is to show people the basics. I try to cover as much as possible but if I tried to fit everything in the video would go for to long. My vids are aimed more at the beginners out there.I think giving people a base to start with they can go on and adapt and change things to suit. We don’t all look at things the same, I try to tell people if they like what they have created then thats great. But we can all learn from others too, so I hope people read your comment and they can try your suggestions. It all inspires us to experiment and try different things.
