hey thanks... dependent visa holder or spouse visa holder.... if you partner is a british passport holder or ILR holder- you can get spouse visa, so u will not have any problem with job. if you are a dependent visa holder, depend how long is your visa valid for.... say if u applying for a job now and your visa is valid only for 6 months, company maybe reluctant to give you white collar job but if you have a long term visa, you can land any job without any issue.
