Regarding Iraqi fear of pistols, from what I've been told by an Army officer friend, Iraqis have been socially conditioned to fear it because when the secret police came for you (which most likely meant torture and then murder) they came with pistols. My favorite to start a new shooter on and to practice in my garage is a semi auto. Crosman that is. I don’t know why none of these channels ever mention it. It doesn’t replace training with your carry. It’s helped me a lot because I can practice my draw and shoot without a range.
I already had a permit and will continue to keep a permit because of resiprcory... but I’m so glad my volunteer state just made the constitution carry a law.

The Cia/seal/berret guys on TH-cam all seem to say that the high ready is more adventageous when doing cqb than the low ready, as the barrel is easier to get on target, and less likely to flag when the muzzle is above the head. I think I've seen you say that you vastly prefer the low ready, and was wondering if you could give a deeper explanation of how you view this.

I am a big fan of all the D boys, but Irons are for the pros now no one is buying stick shift cars... red dots for side arms are the toyota corolla of todays ccw pistols and it is a good thing
I got a gun before i was four by eight we were allowed to use without supervision. I used to think my military buddies who are 28 years old also have 25 years of firearm experience with me. So in short: We are trained to use weapons from the moment it is possible. Kinda like Mongels learned to ride and shoot
