- This is a very raw video without any special effects or added camera views, but I've had a couple people ask me in the past to post a tutorial on this song, one of my favorite all time by Shane & Shane. After a friend recently asked me, I wanted to go ahead and do it. There are mistakes so please get past that. Hopefully it helps some viewers learn to play it. I will happily take requests on other songs and get to them when I can if you find this one helpful. God bless!

Thanks, not my best work. I kind of threw it together for a friend who was trying to learn it. It's a great song, but there are many versions of it and I kind of do a hybrid when I do it live. Anyways, I appreciate the comment and hope it helps. God bless!

This song is my kryptonite. But it’s my favorite of all time! Could you let us know the picking pattern for the right/strumming/fingering hand?
ARose It’s a little difficult to describe the picking pattern really. He kind of picks each string from the second to the fifth and then does the hammer on and pull of thing. Honestly though, it’s better to keep listening and trying it along with the song. Then pause and try it. Keep doing that until it sounds right, but don’t beat yourself up if it’s not exact. He changes it some each time he plays it so I would say just find what is comfortable and sounds good to you and go with that.

obviously not.. there was this dude with the youtube account lockofhair.. he was a heavier guy that played a taylor that liked shane bernard and could triple and quadruple strum.. the guy in the video says his name is tim green i believe and then he shows how to strum fast like that, but his video is from like 2007.. whereas ur video is from 2013.. a good six yrs apart, so i thought u may have been tim green, just older.. or that chris hayes was tim green./. lol sorry brother.. i appreciate the video though..
but now that i went and looked at lockofhairs youtube page, yall look nothing alike.. hes heavier, younger, etc.. sorry to bother you!
