Almost none of Indiana's lines make sense. He fires shots that only make him look even worse. Trashing her game, while having the sad Indiana Jones game garbage that she mentioned. Chase was Lara Croft’s former lover. He was killed during one of their treasure-hunting expeditions. “Tap that X in time” is referring to quick-time events in video games, where the player has to quickly perform an action to succeed - usually, tapping a button, sometimes repeatedly, before time runs out.
So, Indiana Jones is saying that Chase died because Lara failed a QTE. And he also makes a pun on “X (button)” and “ex(-boyfriend).” That pun, then, fits with the slang meaning of “tapping someone,” which is to have sex with them. So, Indy is also saying that she’ll never again be with Chase, and she’ll never start a family with him.
"Thats like my nude codes, never gonna happen" As someone who loves gaming history, shivers were sent down my spine.

I loved the attention to detail with Lara adjusting her gloves as she starts. In Tomb Raider Anniversary she does that when the controller is idle. It’s like she had nothing to do while Indy was rapping.

Idk why but the “cut to the chase” part was hands down the greatest/ most satisfying scene in erb history
haha we filmed that way more than 20 times. different frames per second, different timing, we tried switching the speed of the playback on set. in the end, we ended up choosing a clip that had a decent looking whip motion (harder than I thought) and slowing it down 800% using a program called Topaz. I just wanted to make some sort of visual joke about QTE, it makes me really happy to see you noticing :)

It’s not just a “decent” British accent, it’s a FANTASTIC British accent that sounds very similar to her game counterpart of Judith Gibbons’ performance perfectly from capturing Lara’s mature posh upperclassmen accent of a lady while still retaining Lara’s quick wit and sensual class! It’s perfectly presented, as well as everything else you’ve mentioned as it’s phenomenal package from the actress here! Extremely well done!
