Awesome video! I would love to see your process for cleanup. Do you do most of it by hand, or do you utilize any remesh operations in 3DS or other programs to make it easier?
I think this is not meant to be a sub-d model, but maybe the best way to have a sub-D model is auto retopo. Otherwise It's a lot of manual cleanup, I mean, it's probably even better to use another approach for subD like knife, fix topology and extrude, detach, whatever. Still a long process.
Thanks for the tip. Does push modifier allow the outside to remain the gray color and the inside the green color after the proboolean? Or is it the effect of the proboolean? Guess I'll have to watch it again. LOL
@@coloradoing9172 You can not. You can a lot, but not everything. If you claim you can, you are not experienced enough with both software to know their limitations.
Hi Arrimus love your tutorials and also I have bought your Udemy course, one thing is cooking my noodles is that the UI of your modifiers, like chanfer, bevel...etc are different from my MAX 2024...is that a script? thanks and keep posting! cheers!
Layering is always an excellent approach.
Awesome video!

what about the n-gons that were created using boolean?
yeah same question

In other videos, he uses Retopology tools or in case of simpler topology manual topology editing.
honestly, I get excited when you release a new video
Great stuff! 🎉 👍👍
Hello Arrimus! Is there an option in 3DS Max to slide edges or vertex keeping the same space like the options E and F in Blender? Thanks!
Amazing, thanks 👍

I think he made a copy of the inner green cylinder, then used push on the duplicate.
@@michaelarby Thanks. I missed that part. LOL
Do you use the new booleans modifier in your workflow?
ProBoolean
Literally modelling a gun right now, one with ridiculous barrel details.
good timing this vid.
Can u put the convex edges script video back on please
Very cool!
3D max is such a powerful tool. Its just a shame it's so expensive, but I mean you get what you pay for
I mean, the Indie license ie 350 yearly. Sure, not for free, but not that bad compared to the normal commercial license.
You can do all of this in Blender.

@@coloradoing9172 Blender is painfully much more difficult.
Always teaching sth nice!👌

Amazing!
Would be grate if you use screencast to show what you clicking and shortcuts yo uuse next time :)
I bet you're the only person able to do that!
Dear Arrimus 3D, I dare you to draw an equilateral 80 sides polygon inscribed within an ellipse😀
What do you guy call this it should have a name I see it often
its pretty much a boolean workflow, it will require some cleanup if you want to subd it though
have you switced over to 2024?
Very cool!
