Holy ash isn't completely chemical free. So in a way you are using some chemical. Baking soda, baking powder and lemon are way better than Vibhuth as we don't know what sort of chemical is lurking in it. Or like our grannies used red soil, ash from wood burning stove and tamarind is what we have to use.

As mentioned in the video, just wash using baby/normal dishwash liquid daily. You shall use the holy ash to wash once the silverware starts to darken.
