This song is a lot of fun. A great way to introduce the band and they have fun playing it and getting the crowd involved. A mosh pit broke out during this one at the LA show and the crowd was swaying this way and that through the whole song lol. Asami commented on it.
Actually, she said she was struggling with her compositions before this last EP, and the other members told her she could do better. So she went back to the grind to come up with what became the new LOVEBITES EP II. So, it's not always easy or right the first time, even for great composers.
Composing is art form and a lot of artists will go back and just give it some touch-ups or rework the entire piece it's totally normal. ... She is an amazing composer regardless and has blessed us with these amazing tunes!!
Yeah, I was going to say Miyako is the quality control. If you really wanna see La Gringa cry, listen to Epilogue from the Daughters of the Dawn concert. I’ve had guitar solos make my eyes water, but I’ve never had a vocalist do that. Asami does in that song.

The Empresses of Metal strike again. But that's no surprise for those who know them. Lovebites is the quintessence of all the splendour Metal music has to offer. Can only hope that they have another European/UK tour in store for us - and if so, I shall be in the crowd (again).
Hi Gringa and Jimmy, and thanks for another enthusiastic reaction. This is one of my (many) favorite Lovebites-songs... pure rock'n'roll and fun. Since I know that you don't shy away from some of their more emotional tunes, either, I'd like to suggest "Journey to the other side" from the "Daughters of the dawn" show. At first glance it is just an excellent song like all their other material - at least until the last half minute, and if you don't know the background story and don't pay attention to the lyrics. The song was written by Miho in memory of her father, a paramedic who passed away at age 49. Appearantly they only played it live on this one tour, and I must say the bravery of this young woman to me is just as impressive and inspiring as it is touching. I think you'll know what I mean when you see the end of that video. I suggest having some cleenex at hand - I needed them, anyways.

Miho is believed to have over 500+ metal tees in her collection. She was the real bobble head of the band and even as a founder she got little or any real shine time. That is one big difference compared to the Fami performances, the band goes out of their way to make sure she gets her shine time on stage (a change from the Miho years). She is still loved and missed by the Wolfpack but with Fami the band just keeps going with her influences woven in. The talent in Japan is scary deep so anyone can be replaced, well maybe not Miyako. However here you see the point that insane talent alone isn't enough they have to be a group who love playing together and have fun doing it. When Miho left the real fear many of us original Wolfpack members had was if Haruna left that was the end of Lovebites, she loves this band and she is the glue that kept them going while on hiatus searching for Fami. Great reaction and a song the group loved to play on stage to their fans!!!!
It was very apparent they we're all really having a blast with this one! They we're super tight despite running around and entertaining the crowd. This is def one of my fave performances!!
A great song to watch live. The interactions between the band and the fan were off the roof. We had lots of fun in San Francisco, singing along with the band. Amazing atmosphere! This september. In the concert at Tokyo Garden Theatre. During this song. The whole band ( except Haruna of course ) got down from the scene to get in the middle of the public moving between ranks and giving High fives to the public. It was incredible.

Another great Reaction, and this is one of my favorite songs by them. M&M's guitars are _Always_ 'hard-panned' in concert videos (sometimes on CDs as well), with Miyako on the Right and Midori on the Left. I really like the separation because once you can identify their individual guitar 'tones' you can more clearly hear their interplay with each other. The one I wanted to share was from Korea and the band in the middle of the song went into the crowd and played part of the song. Fami was running everywhere on stage with her iconic smile.
However, I could not find that video. But it was an outdoor show with a lot of people in attendance.

This september. In the concert at Tokyo Garden Theatre. During this song. The whole band ( except Haruna of course ) got down from the scene to get in the middle of the public moving between ranks and giving High fives to the public. It was incredible.

you should do "Journey to the other side" a song Miho wrote when she lost her father could have been some of the reason you see her in later videos shes withdrawn and standing not doing the high energy it effected her very much I would imagine

Drop of Joker for Miyako, a real heavy mix of electronica and rock. I expect Miyako did all supporting instrumentation, which is most likely why the computer is resting on the top of her stack. This band and Geikijo Metalicche could also have been an influence on Hanabie. Another great Reaction, and this is one of my favorite songs by them. M&M's guitars are _Always_ 'hard-panned' in concert videos (sometimes on CDs as well), with Miyako on the Right and Midori on the Left. I really like the separation because once you can identify their individual guitar 'tones' you can more clearly hear their interplay with each other. It's especially nice on the dual harmonies, because you can really hear just how f-ing TIGHT they are with each other. Jimmy, you *NEED* to go back to Unlucky Morpheus.
