Hello Kathy 🙂 Wow!! I love the buttons on the spine it looks great!! Thank you for sharing and will be waiting for the closure and dangle video 😉 Hugs and Blessings 😘
Hi, Lore, and thanks! It seemed like a great way to use up some of the massive stash of buttons I have. Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comments! ~Kathy xo
Aww, thank you, Darlin’ DIL! I appreciate you watching my little channel. There might even be some fun things for you and the kids to do! 💕❤️ ~Kathy xo
Great idea using the magnets to hold the backstop. That bakers twine is so cute. I got all the colors dollar tree had, lol. The wax is a good tip too. Thanks for the great tutorials. I have my signatures taken out with spine intact. Getting excited to make my first LGB journal.
Kathy, I love the way this journal is coming along. Watching your video , I have had a Crop-a-Dile for a year now, and never knew that little slidy thing on the bottom was for measuring. Thank you for a great video. I cannot wait to see what you do with the closure and dangle...
Thanks, Teresa! It took me a looong time to realize that thing was a backstop for measuring, lol! I’m hoping to get the dangle and closure done in the next couple of days. Thank you for watching! ~Kathy xo
This little Golden Book “Donald Duck’s Toy Train” was my very favorite one to read our three sons while growing up. I had it memorized at one time! By the time our third son finished with it, it was pretty battered and torn….so I recently went online and bought a new one. Thank you for your inspiration to memorialize this special book!
Hi Connie, what a great memory! I’m so glad you liked the journal and that you now have a pristine copy of your favorite Little Golden Book. In our house, it was Scuffy the Tugboat, so I might make a journal from that one at some point. Thank you so much for watching and for sharing such a sweet memory! ~Kathy xo
Thank you so much, Linda! I really appreciate that. I do have a flip video, here’s the link: Donald's Toy Train Little Golden Book Junk Journal Flip Through - SOLD Thank you! th-cam.com/video/TcW0cy8XggQ/w-d-xo.html
Hi Tammy! I remember struggling with that concept at first too. Here’s an excellent video by Natasha from Treasure Books that really helped me. Of course, there aren’t any hard and fast rules, but I think you’ll enjoy this one. Thanks for watching!! ~Kathy xo th-cam.com/video/xSegjt4aVto/w-d-xo.html
I love the buttons on the spine! So cute 🥰 I was wondering if you could have sewn in your template to the inside to add more stability & reinforcement to the holes?? Just curious
Thanks, Jennifer! The spine is made from cardboard so it’s plenty sturdy. I have a video of making the cover as well if you’re interested. Thank you so much for watching! ~Kathy xo

Also, there is a playlist for that journal at the end of the video, too.
Would you please do a video showing how you make your signatures. I am struggling with this process because this is the first one I a doing. TY.

Do you have any videos showing how you create the signatures? Do you divide up the LGB to make separate signature groups and add 12x12 paper?
